Fantastically fun challenge (but possible)
This was the MOST fun I've ever had putting a puzzle together. I wanted a challenge and something unique, and this puzzle fit the bill. The added layer of difficulty not knowing whether the piece in hand is oriented "up" or "down" was fantastic. The pieces were very well cut - there is some movement even when they are put together due to the material, but this doesn't take from the quality or experience. I'm definitely keeping my fingers crossed for anything to match this challenge! I hope to see a clearly impossible puzzle with even more pieces or a different spin. --- Edit: May 2023 I recently discovered the release of the 1000 piece clearly impossible puzzle. This was an even more satisfying challenge than the 500 piece. I started the puzzle on April 24th and finished on May 27th. If you know an avid, confident puzzler this is a fantastic gift. If you like to complete puzzles but you don't enjoy sorting pieces this probably isn't the challenge for you. My best advice for completing this puzzle in a timely manner is sort, sort, sort. I first sort out all of the edge pieces like any other puzzle. No worries...the creators have thrown in false edges AND corners. The border of the 1000 piece was the most confusing guessing game I've ever had to play. After your border is together (and hopefully correct), I sorted every piece by shape and orientation. Then it's process of elimination working your way inward. Patience is required. An eye for "funky shapes" is extremely helpful. I will say that I think the 1000 piece had more "it looks like it fits but it doesn't fit" moments than the 500 piece did. I also think the pieces were a little bit of a rough cut. I took to taking nail clippers and snipping off the jagged edges that sometimes prevented pieces from a snug fit. Yes, just like the 500 piece there is still some "wiggle" to the puzzle. This is just the nature of the material. It simply isn't going to hold together like a cardboard puzzle. The scariest moment of the puzzle was realizing I had "lost" a piece. I knew for sure because it was an inner false edge piece and I was down to less than 100 pieces overall. I counted up all of the edge pieces of that shape in my sort tray and on the board...I had 25 but needed 26 with the missing piece. Thankfully I had taken a picture of the initial edge piece sort. Counted in that photo...26 pieces. I was lucky to find the missing piece on the floor. I was even luckier it was the only piece that was misplaced. Overall this was money and time well spent (for me). I await the next jigsaw challenge. 2000 pieces? 5000? A girl can dream.

Still possible
Great puzzle! Not as challenging as I was hoping for though. I got the 100 pice and it took me about 2 hours. My kids even broke a piece as it is plastic and it didnt affect me doing the puzzle. My son however he gave up after he got the border done within 20 minutes. Lol

Clearly a good puzzle
Have I completed it? No. It the quality great? Yes! This is a fun puzzle for sure, but very challenging. I know someday I'll complete it. For now I will just keep trying it a little everyday. I looked a lot of these puzzles up and this one was by far the best value.

Definitely a challenge
Overall I would say this was a fun puzzle. It's definitely challenging but possible. My teenage daughter received this as a Christmas gift, but became frustrated and gave up quickly. I thought it would offer a few hours of entertainment, but once started I had to finish it even though it took much longer than expected. Pros: Being clear, no discernible top, bottom, right side up, or upside down, combined with false edge and corner pieces made for a fantastic challenge. Cons: Many of the pieces are cut very similar, so the pieces that look like a perfect fit actually do not belong together. So sometimes you get several pieces together, then find nothing else fits to attach those pieces together. The back tracking to guess which piece was wrong was annoying. When done correctly, all of the pieces fit together loosely. However, many pieces slide together fairly tightly, then get jammed. They're fragile enough to then break when you pull the pieces apart. While I didn't break any pieces, my teen did. A little super glue fixed it right up, and you can't really tell where it broke unless you look really closely. It's important to be gentle while working.

Definitely lives up to the “impossible” name
This puzzle is a lot harder than a normal jigsaw puzzle, which is exactly what makes it fun. Since the pieces are clear, you can’t rely on colors or patterns the way you normally would, so it really forces you to focus on the shapes of the pieces. The pieces feel sturdy and well cut, and they fit together nicely once you start figuring out where things go. It definitely takes patience, but that’s part of the challenge. This is a great puzzle if you enjoy brain teasers or want something more difficult than a typical puzzle. It’s also a funny gift idea for someone who likes puzzles and a good challenge. Overall, it’s frustrating in a good way and very satisfying once you start making progress.

Harder than it looks but it was a great challenge! I also ordered it as a gift.

Not worth nearly $50
It was a very fun puzzle to do! Took me about the same amount of time as doing a regular 1000 piece puzzle (granted I spent 2 ENTIRE days doing it plus some extra here and there’s.) but I do not see this being worth $45. Some pieces were broken upon opening (can’t really tell once finished) and I spent the entire time thinking I was going to break one myself. The pieces fit fine but are loose at the same time, the quality of it just doesn’t meet the price in my opinion. Plus the excitement of how it looks goes away after a couple hours of staring at it while trying to complete it.

Sent this to my dad for his birthday. Unfortunately he passed away before he got a chance to finish it so my mum had a go but got frustrated and gave up. So if you are up for a difficult challenge this puzzle is for you.
