Of it stops working, check the batteries.
My kids (2 and 5 yrs) both love this play sink. After about a month it wouldn't turn on and I thought it was clogged or broken since I had read reviews about this happening. Then I decided to put in new batteries and it works fine. My 2 yr old likes to leave it on so it burned through the batteries quick.

Worth buying for fun time and conserving water.
The kids love it! The actual sink part is a bit smaller than I would like but overall still a great fun toy to entertain the kids who love playing with water for hours. Since the kids love to play with water in a real sink I figure this is a good replacement and a way to conserve water. There is only “on” and “off”. Nothing in between. The water can come out strong so expect some splashing and water to get around. Got a good 2 hours of play before they splashed all the water out from playing. The faucet is not entirely flush to the “counter top” of the sink because of the drying rack but it doesn’t diminish any of its abilities. You’ll probably just need to poor a smidge more water into the base so the faucet mechanism can reach the water to cycle. The faucet head can swivel just under/around180 degrees which is nice but also means the water can go on the parts that don’t have any drainage contributing to the water splashing out. I like that the battery compartment update. It is installed at the top rather than on the side like on the older models where it is not submerged with the water. So it is less likely that water will leak in like other older models. I recommend distilled or purified water to pour into this play sink to keep the faucet from getting any build up and thus reducing the life span of this toy because the kids will want to play with it for a really long time.

Stopped working after 3-5 uses
I got this for my 2 year old who is now super sad that it stopped working after about 3-5 uses :( I have replaced the batteries with brand-new ones, but the faucet will not run. It wont even make the sound that its on anymore. I tired returning this, but Amazon will not allow returns at this point. Bummer.

MAXIMUM FUN
1 year old is obsessed. She achieved maximum fun with the play sink. We put a large washable rug under the toy because water gets everywhere. Accessories are too small for little kids (choking hazard, box says age 3+), but the fun part is the sink itself. This play sink has the battery compartment on the top with an upgraded pump. Many other styles listed on Amazon had battery compartments under the water that stopped working quickly so they were poorly rated. This one works like a charm...on day 1. UPDATE, 1 year later. 2 year old still loves the play sink. Faucet pump finally died, ordering a replacement so she can continue the fun!

Too bad it didn't last very long!
Once bought my son a toy kitchen with sink, fridge, oven, etc. He was very excited until he turned on the sink faucet and no water came out. My son is autistic. He loves playing with water. So, I purchased this sink with running water. He LOVED it!!! It instantly became his favorite toy. But, unfortunately, it stopped working. The batteries are fine. I even switched them out with fresh ones to be sure. But the motor simply died. Needless to say, he's extremely disappointed. Does anyone know if a new faucet is available or if we must replace the entire sink? Terrific toy when it worked...

Short lifespan, but entertaining
Purchased Feb 2023, had issues with the first faucet and swapped the set without issue. The new faucet lasted around 4 months with occasional play, though the water pressure diminished considerably about 3 months in. The faucets are pretty temperamental, so may last a bit longer if you can be OCD about taking it out quickly after play. My 3 y/o makes a mess with it, so we have to keep outside or in garage. There are no drainage holes on the top flat surface, so if the faucet is moved to be over that area, the water just goes all over the floor. The sink is also very small, and I wish it had a stand. Ultimately, it's pretty inexpensive so I didn't expect too much in terms of quality. Pros- helps save a little water if you have a kid that is obsessed with playing in the sink and can keep a preschooler entertained for 30-60 min at a time. Found a replacement faucet online that seems like it will fit for $12. Probably won't be worth replacing again if the new one has a similar lifespan.

So awesome, but smaller than expected
My son loves it. I cannot say enough about it. At 2, he spent 2.5 hours the first day nonstop using his sink. My real kitchen sink is not full of all of his toys, like it usually is. They are in *his* sink. He "washed" all his mega blocks, his bouncy balls, his cars, his hands, all the dishes, all his plastic food, the cat, the floor, the table, his hair.... okay so for a younger kid they can make a mess. But for me to be able to have more than 15 minutes to get some batch cooking and paperwork done, it's absolutely worth it. I will say the veggies this comes with are probably too small for most kiddos under 5. The sink itself is about 9 inches by 15 inches. For comparison, a regular sheet of paper is 8.5 by 11 inches. I wish the handle for the water was a little larger and a little sturdier. But the motor for the faucet pump is better than some I've bought for aquariums.
