Great stone
Great stone for the price. Easy to use and sharpens in no time. Not a bulky stone and feels soft on the edge

I love my 'Baby' (Baby Chosera)!
This is NO CHEAP IMITATION! By studying many reviews, I learned of this fine quality stone. It costs considerably less than the 'real', somewhat thicker stone and I believe will perform every bit as well. I sharpen only my own knives along with a few for my friends and this stone will likely outlast me. Very good value and satisfying performance.

Great stone
I am very happy with the quality of the stone and the feedback it gives during sharpening. I removed one star but that should be against Amazon Japan since they shipped the product in a box that allowed the sharpening stone to bound around and it destroyed the plastic case holder and put a very small chip in the corner of the stone. However not enough to impact use and performance.

Very nice stone, quite fine-grained
Very nice sharpening stone. One of the best I’ve used. I mostly use Shapton Pro (1k and 5k). Compared to those, I would say that this is more fine-grained than the grit would suggest, maybe more like a 3k. This is not a fast sharpening stone, so you’ll need something courser to start on a dull knife, but this stone has good feed-back and leaves a very nice edge. I’m fairly decent with sharpening stones, but also pretty lazy so I tend to use no more than 2 stones on a given knife. For western knives, this is too fine-grained for me to bother. My Japanese knives tend to be kept pretty sharp, so I can usually start on this, and sometimes go to a 5k afterwards, but going from this stone to a leather strop can leave an extremely good edge. The plastic case is extremely flimsy and broke in shipping. Not a big deal but they are handy to have and wish the case was a bit better.

Amazing stone
It is really hard, fast and very close to mirror polish results. The stone does not produce so much slurry, it's splash and go, create and remove the burr very easy and it's ideal for a dayli use to keep your knifes at razor sharp. I have all the collection of Naniwa Gouken Arata and this is my favorite, even i have to buy the real Naniwa Chosera to compare both so i can say that it's the same stone.

On another Level!
All I can say is wow this thing is fast and buttery smooth! I have all the top 3 circulating the internet, Cerax 1k, Shapton pro 1k, King 1k/6k. As a beginner, all these are great but I've come to know I have a problem. This being the most expensive, it was the last one I would buy. And like most people regret the money spent trying cheaper options. Had a small crack in the plastic base. Did not affect the stone or usability of the case. This thing cuts 20CV Steel so fast it literally takes the fun out of it.

Excellent stone
Great feedback. I was moving from a 1K stone to a 5K. That was quite a jump so I finally added this 3K to my progression and it does save time in my razor honing process. Unfortunately, the plastic box/holder was broken. That isn't a big deal. The big deal is that the stone wasn't damaged at all. In any case, I do recommend this stone.
