I saw this on a blogger’s page and it was in her top ten. I just got mine and I’m so disappointed. The smell and taste is just entirely nasty. Not only that I put it on and it burned more like stinging so it lasted for several minutes. It was bad enough that I wiped it off. The taste is hard to overcome for me. Not a good pick My doesn’t expire until 1/2026

Couldn’t get through the first day. Tastes dead up like sunscreen, gross gross gross. Threw it out.

I had high hopes for this SPF lip balm, especially from a trusted brand like Supergoop!, but this one was a major letdown. The texture is oddly chunky, not smooth like you’d expect from a balm, and it feels gritty going on. Worst of all, it actually burned my lips after applying-definitely not what you want in a product meant to protect sensitive skin. It also wears off really quickly, which defeats the purpose of using SPF at all. Between the unpleasant texture, irritation, and lack of staying power, this was a hard pass for me. Would not recommend, especially for anyone with sensitive lips.

I use this SPF flip balm in the morning or when I’m going for a run, to the beach, etc. The texture feels just like regular lip gloss. I got the açaí flavor, which smells amazing—but the taste is really weird. Even if you don’t mean to, it ends up in your mouth and it’s hard to get rid of. Despite that, I still use it because it protects my lips and smells great.

I struggle with dry lips, so I bought this for a beach trip. Hands down one of the best lip balms that I’ve ever used! Doesn’t leave the weird white film, smells great, kept my lips feeling hydrated, and protected my lips from the sun. 10/10 would recommend.

Love the spf but it does leave an odd taste in your mouth if you accidentally get some in there.

I'm not a fan of this lip balm. First of all its basically like putting an acai scented petroleum jelly (vaseline) on your lips. Its pretty thick. Its not exactly sticky but it does have a tacky kind of slimy texture to it. It doesn't absorb into your lips either. The instructions say to apply a generous amount and reapply every 2 hours! That seems quite excessive. It slides around on your lips and the more you talk the worse it gets. I keep having to wipe the corners and sides of my lips so it dosent look like it was put on by a toddler. Even though its a clear gloss its visibly shinny with even a tiny amount. I wanted to love this product but its not worth it at all.
