The Tena active fit range are the best medical adult nappies I have found. I much prefer these active fit ones with the plastic backing over the standard cloth backed ones, name is a little deceptive as the cut is identical just refers to the backing, I find the plastic backing much softer and more comfortable against my skin, and also means that the outside never becomes wet after long periods like the cloth backed. Some people might be concerned about the plastic being noisier and therefore more noticeable, however I have found with clothes on the difference is small compared to cloth backed. The fit of these nappies are great, fit nice and snug, and so comfortable to wear. And more importantly they stay put so you can wear them for hours without worrying about then moving and leaking when used, even when used in bed at night they are still snuggly in the same place come the morning. The Maxi’s are thicker and hold more liquid, still a good daytime nappy and I don’t think noticeable through clothing, but certainly more noticeably thicker when walking around, although I still find them comfortable. The Ultima is pretty much for bed use as is a lot thicker and noticeably bulkier when wearing. But if needed, this can be mitigated for day time use by dressing for using nappies (baggier clothes, darker colours etc).

The Plus nappies are very thin and discreet when worn, no one would notice you wearing them, you can walk around wearing them without noticing yourself, and incredibly comfortable, no bulk between your legs. Despite their thin nature they are still great at holding liquid, and I would recommend these as a great daytime nappy. The Maxi’s are thicker and hold more liquid, still a good daytime nappy and I don’t think noticeable through clothing, but certainly more noticeably thicker when walking around, although I still find them comfortable. The Ultima is pretty much for bed use as is a lot thicker and noticeably bulkier when wearing. All in all the Tena range of nappies I think are the best value nappies I have found and the best performing.

Great fit and ideal for wearing during the day, though a few changes during the day are needed

These pads are a great fit , soak well and best value for money , easy to use and wear and comfortable when wearing even when wet. Hold a decent amount for outings cinema and suck with no worries. Very leak proof too being plastic backed with side leak guards that makes the pad very Sturdy. If this is a product you need I can highly recommend.

Use Tena pads daily but these were horrible plastic outer which made him really sweaty and uncomfortable, the ripped easily and left a horrible layer over his skin. It felt like I was wrapping his skin in a plastic bag.
