Apple Late 2018 MacBook Air 13.3-inch with 1.6GHz Intel Core i5, 16GB RAM, 512GB SSD Storage, Space Gray (Renewed)

Purchase this computer for my 10-year-old daughter for her first laptop. Didn’t really want to spend the money on a new one so decided to give this a try. Computer came in flawless condition, works great and she’s very happy with it. Can’t beat the price.

Bought a used 2018 MacBook. It was in good overall condition and I just used it to get through my first semester. After an update the laptop has worked well and I would buy another one from this seller if I needed it.

The laptop arrived in a bubble bag from FedEx. Inside that bad was a box. Inside that box was the laptop which was inside a bubble wrap bad. Outside of that bag was the rolled up charger. I personally think they should have bubble wrapped the charger as well but thank god nothing happened. Now to explain the photos as what I didn’t like. The laptop came wrapped with some type of protective skin. Very shiny and cheap looking. But quite thick. It was NOT perfectly applied, and due to this the corners were hanging off. Which then got stuck on the bubble wrapping which began peeling the skin off the laptop. See photos It didn’t make a huge difference because I wouldn’t want the skin on it either way because it looks so cheap and tacky with it on. I peeled it off to also confirm the ACTUAL condition of the body because they claim EXCELLENT in the description. I must say the body is in immaculate condition. Looks new. Not a single noticeable scratch anywhere on the back. It’s like it was in a case from day one. There’s also a skin on the bottom, but I left that alone because it’s applied properly and I anticipate that will come in handy to protect the bottom when place on various surfaces. The touch pad and keyboard is it good shape. This laptop was lightly used. Hardly any sign of wear. I wish the touchpad more closely matches the body though. But that’s probably an Apple issue. I went ahead and updated it. It’s relatively quick with minor hiccups. It’s running Sequoia 2024. I installed windows on it, as it’s intended as a gift and I want it to be optimally useful to the receiver. The 1TB is split down the middle for both OS. Windows 11 works amazingly well on this thing. Too bad I had to trick Bootcamp into installing it as it’s not officially supported. But otherwise, all the drivers work and ZERO issues. Some outstanding things I particularly like. The battery life is excellent. The speakers are LOUD as hell. The keyboard sound and feeling is orgasmic. The charger is type C and the cable is detachable. The gold color is just outstanding. Overall this is an excellent laptop and I would have given it 5stars if it wasn’t for the poor presentation of the skin and also a keyboard burn in on the bottom right of the screen. I would buy again and recommend.

I have bought refurbished/renewed electronics, for myself and others, from Amazon and other places for years and never had a problem until this transaction. This product was described by the seller as "Renewed - Excellent" but was in Poor condition. The laptop had three very visible scratches on the outside cover, with additional scratches on the Apple logo. Worse yet, the backlit keyboard had MAJOR defects as 4 keys (A, S, E and D) had the letters completely worn off (and were illuminated as unreadable white blobs). Worse yet, a sticker had been haphazardly placed over the top of the D key. Not only was the sticker not even centered on the key, but a sticker on a key of a backlit keyboard disables the backlight functionality for that key. Horrible. I have owned a lot of computers over the years and have never experienced keys wearing off on a keyboard. This thing was either abused or defective from the start. I have two laptops that I use to run my business. Both bought refurbished or used (without being refurbished) and both have been great for multiple years and still have no physical defects despite a lot of travel and heavy use. Overall, VERY disappointing and deserves a 1-star review, only because I cannot give it a zero. I received a return authorization and will be sending it back for a refund. This disappointing experience also resulted in my daughter not having a computer for her first day of high school orientation. I’m buying another one from a different seller today, so at least she will have it for the first day of class next week. There should be some sort of quality control process for allowing sellers to market renewed products under the Amazon name. Maybe there is and this one just slipped through the cracks. Update as of 9/10/24, I have still not received my refund or any communication from Amazon or the seller.

Incredible! I was honestly so scared to order this I was stressing the whole time, worried that I was gonna get a damaged non excellent MacBook, but it came in so beautiful no scratches no damage, the battery life is amazing. I’m so glad I bought this and highly recommend!!

Super good quality forever recommend people to buy referbished computer because you pay half the price and they last just as long!!

My grandma bought me this laptop as a gift and i anticipated getting it ever since i hit submit order. i ordered it about a week and half and it arrived today and i was so so happy. i ordered the space gray with 16 GB and i was worried about how it was going to come in the mail with the other reviews but i was not let down. i bought the one in the excellent condition and it runs every well, the speed is excellent, the durability is amazing its very firm and heavy. the size is as expected 13 inch’s and i was so happy when i opened it up and seen he screen. the speakers and sound are loud and great for playing music. It it a very great product and came in great condition with an apple charger for it. I definitely recommend buying this product and it was definitely worth the wait. :) thank you amazon !!

We needed to get a labtop to get us through the next 2 years of high school. It is a great investment and a reasonable price. The seller is very responsive and attentive as we had a few questions regarding the product. Fast response, very helpful!

Calienta mucho al exigirle con ciertos programas. Debió llegar con mayor protección. Me gustó la capacidad y velocidad de la Ram. Estoy trabajando bien con la mac hasta el momento.
