Best method I've found for direct dye removal!
I use this with warm water to get my direct dyes/fashion colors out and go back to platinum blonde or switch to another color. Works like a charm, the stained color washes right out. My hair is frizzy and dry after, but the product is like entirely ammonia so it makes sense; ammonia's job is to open the hair cuticle. Thus, dry, frizzy hair, but the pigment comes out. It leaves it prone to damage, so being gentle after is a must. But a few washes later with ph-balancing shampoo and conditioner to close the cuticle (I use products with aloe) and my hair is back to normal and soft and blonde and my dark brown natural regrowth is intact! Yay! Disclaimer: I've never used this with developer. If you use it with developer it will work like bleach and lighten your natural hair and possibly cause damage. Assess the instructions and the health and amount/type of dye stuck in your hair before choosing developer. Better safe than sorry. If your hair is badly compromised, don't use this with developer.

Quick Blue
Love this bleach! L'Oréal Quick Blue lifts my hair up to 7 levels with ease, and the no-drip formula makes application super clean and easy. It’s powerful, fast-acting, and leaves my hair ready for any color I want to apply. Highly recommend for salon-quality results at home!

As described. Works every time!
Love this stuff! It does the trick every time. Follow directions for mixing. I use it with a cap for highlights.

Magic Eraser!... For the most part...
Works great on blue, red(orange), and green colors. Also works great on normal box dye colors. When you start getting into colors that are pink or have a pink undertone, it's probably not going to be your magic eraser. My daughter had blue and purple hair, which faded to a mint green and purple-ish pink. This took the green out no problem, those strands went back to platinum blonde. But, the purple turned a very light pink. Still there, but it is light enough to put another color over without much issue. One treatment. My hair was a faded magenta color. One treatment turned my hair to a light, but bright, flamingo pink. Did a second treatment couple days later, didn't change it at all. Slapped a red dye over it and called it good. So Yeah... It does work for the most part, but if you have some variance of pink in your hair? Maybe not so much with the working? I'd still recommend it cause every ones hair is different, and it may work better for some then others. My experience though, it does work on a good majority of colors and dyes. Also, Yes, this will lighten your natural/regrowth/roots to a point so be careful.

THIS IS MAGIC!!!
I’ve used almost everything to remove hair color for the past 8 years- dishwashing liquid, dandruff shampoo, crushed vitamin C, baking soda, and even straight up bleach. NOTHING can compare to this product right here. I couldn’t believe my eyes. I saw similar reviews and didn’t want to believe them until I tried it myself and wow. All the blue was GONE!!! It’s like I have a blank canvas now!!! It did dry my hair up a little, but it’s nothing some hair masks and hair oil can’t save after a few applications. This product is so worth it and I totally regret not finding out about this sooner!!! I can easily switch from greens and blues to purples and pinks now without worrying about shampooing my hair every other day to get the tints out. I used two packages with WATER. If I used it with developer, my hair probably would’ve been white as paper. Some of my dark black roots also turned a little brown- and that’s just with the water! A little goes a LONG way here. I started rinsing it out once it started to get warm, around the 20 minute mark. I 100/10 recommended this. I swear by this now lol

Works great
Worked great! I used a developer my friend recommended to use with this bleach and it all worked out fine.

Don't expect it to take away all color...
My natural color is light brown. I have been dying it a chestnut brown for a few years (reddish highlights, but a single color not "salon highlights" , just a rich, reddish-tone brown the shows reddish in the sunlight especially. I've used Salermvision for years). I noticed more white hair coming and figured it's time to start going a bit lighter as over time my hair was definitely showing the dark shades towards the ends that results from coloring over time with few trims or on the ends of hair that are more porous and accept the dye. It was getting darker at the ends and my root coloring was evident to me. My plan was to use this to remove all that darker brown that accumulated over the years, starting fresh with no color. (White? my natural dark brown?) Well, folks, I had a gorgeous orange the color of freshly-picked carrots under a disco ball when I used this. A step away from neon punk rock orange. No problem, it was not what I expected, but I figured my new "light brown" would take when I dyed it a couple days later. Not. I was still a redhead, albeit toned down a bit. I received nothing but compliments on my new color, but it was clearly red. Not burgundy, auburn, but a dark-ish carrot-top. I love it, but it wasn't the expected outcome. That first coloring left me with amazing depth and tones all over the place, really glistening in the light. I got so many compliments, and comments, that my haircolor changed. I had planned on a subtle change to a lighter color, and instead had a full-on new color. Seriously, everyone loved it, said it suited my coloring/skin tone, etc., but it was drastic. A couple weeks later I dyed it a light brown again, and wouldn't you know, I'm closer to the chestnut brown I started with, even though the color this time was a dark ashe blond/light brown color with no reds. It's not quite as dark, but pretty close. This second dying about 3 weeks later has toned down the color change from "hey, did you dye your hair" to it is not noticeable except for the style now. I like subtle and stand out for my overall aesthetic, not a shock from drastic change. My hair is not in the same condition as it was before, I will say that while my results worked out great for the look/color, (lucky unplanned mistake), the condition of my hair was definitely dry/damaged at the ends. So I cut layers everywhere, keeping the length in the back so it's not quite so noticeable I did. It's a couple inches past shoulder length. I had long layers before, but now have overall layering so it "just" doesn't reach a ponytail in the back w/o gel or hairspray to hold it in place. It will grow, I cut about 2" off overall, and I've learned my lesson (I'm not a pro or a chemist, I will stick to coloring). I wrote this long review so you would be helped and not surprised. This color remover will remove build-up but not take your hair down to a neutral palet/blank slate to work with, you have to know how to manage color for the resultant base. Good luck!

I just applied this powdered hair bleach so that I can dye my hair red after along with a 30 volume hair developer and I'd say it's working quite nicely.

Simply if you add water it is not bleach if you add any volume developer it will act as bleach For me i did water with 5 drops of 10% developer smell was good applied it by brush , within 30 min all the stupid greenish grayish color despite i dyed my hair igora white dove after bleaching it was gone Left my hair bit dry but rosemary genuine oil restored it in 2 weeks

I've been colouring my hair for a long time, and have found this bleach to the be the best I have used. My hair was fairly light when I used it, and there was no yellow after use. I think too many people expect miracles when going from dark brown to blonde, and need to take it in more stages. I do recommend these for lighter colours and it is kind to the hair as well. Will definitely use again. Oh, and I used it with L'Oreal Oreor Creme 30 Volume Developer 16 oz.

excellent product - my hair has been dyed black for many years and I have tried several products to remove the build up to go lighter. This one we did one application and it has taken it up from black to a medium ginger colour and we reckon one more application and I'll be able to re colour it to the colour I want. If you have the dark colour build up problem that i had, don't waste your money on cheaper shop sold products- spend the little bit extra and try this!!
