Fantastic Acoustic Amplifier. Basically a "mini" PA System
This amplifier sounds amazing with my acoustic guitar, and like the other reviewer stated, it is really nice to have two low-z (balanced) inputs and two high-z (unbalanced) inputs. It even has a balanced output on the back, and the rca inputs are a sweet feature. The DSP Effects are on both channels and can even have different effects on the fly. Just use the included three switch pedal and check out the instruction manual to learn how to use different effects for each channel. The tweeter cut is a really nice feature, allowing you to decide how much of the high fidelity tweeter you want in the mix with the 12" woofer. Other than all the great technical aspects of the amp, I really like the organic look of it, and I got a really nice surprise when I realized that there is a "kickstand" on the bottom of the cabinet that allows you to angle the amp upward. That was a really cool, unexpected feature. If you play acoustic, and you want to hear your guitar come ALIVE, and you want an amp that will accurately reproduce the bass tones of your guitar along with clean, accurate vocals and a great effects system... well, here it is. I couldn't recommend it more. CRATE!

Perfect amp for two mics and two instruments!
My two daughters, the Goldmine Girls, both play guitars and sing. This one amp takes all four inputs (two vocal mikes and two instruments) at the same time! Each has its own level control. The amp has the power and tone to fill a pretty large room, so doing all this in one very portable amp is a great advantage for gigging at small to medium sized venues. In addition, it can also accomodate a CD input or a drum machine. At larger venues it has the desired tonal quality for an acoustic guitar amp. By using the line-in input it also doubles as a monitor at larger gigs. This amp is just what I was looking for. VERY flexible. Great design!

Top of the line
O.K., here we go, a top of the line piece from a top maker, works perfectly. We use it at a church to provide the amp for instruments and for the P.A. voice , fantastic.

Brilliant Acoustic amp and much more
I have been playing for 40 years, 23 of them professionally, and wanted to add an acoustic amp to my setup for my Martin J40. I started high end in my search, and tried the well known makes but never really felt they were worth the money. To tie me over, I took a chance on a small 15 watt Crate 2nd hand for about £30, and was amazed at it, so went straight in and bought the bigger Durango. What an amp. The acoustic tones are alive, and the feedback filters work amazingly well. Its loud enough for small gigs and although a little heavy, nothing untoward. The real eye opener for me, was trying an electric guitar on it. Out of curiosity, I tried my Strats and Teles out, and was so pleased with the sound, sold my Cornford boutique amp. The Crate is now my only amp, and at the price is nothing short of spectacular. The only thing I have done, is added a kill switch to the tweeter, as it doesn't go completely off with the trim pot, and is a bit buzzy with the electric. It was a 10 minute mod, accessed by simply removing the handle, and wiring a switch to the tweeter which I mounted under the handle in the recess. The amp now does it all. The sound is almost valve like when pushed, and with a few effect pedals thrown in, is a killer guitar rig. Buy one, you will be amazed
