I was skeptical since it was so cheap!
I was super skeptical when I saw the sale price for that amount of olive oil. I used it in my pasta last night and everyone said it was better than my normal pasta and that was already great. They said it was fantastic. The only thing I changed was the oil. So, I guess you don't need expensive oil because this got me lots of compliments. Honestly, it tasted very high quality. It didn't mess with the texture of the dish. It was really fresh. The oil quality was better than expected. Olive oil already has so many health benefits. You get so much oil for the price! Anyway, loved it.

Seems like very good extra virgin for the cost.
Not an expert on olive oil but this was impressive to me. Fresh harvest smell with nice grassy taste with mild peppery tone to it. Very impressed and will continue using this product.

Rachel Made Me Do It
EVOO. š Not to be snobby, but we in California knew about EVOO long before Rachael RaeAtchett began to preach its benefits. You see, we in California are no better than anyone in any state of the union. No, we arenāt. We longtimers have always worked with what we have had at-hand, agriculturally. I wish we could go back in time and see this state in the 1940s and ā50s. And āgoodā olive oil is just good GOOD OLIVE OIL. From East to West, it never needed to be called something else. This is good olive oil. Smooth, mildly spicy, fulsome. Buy and use it in good health.

EXCELLENT QUALITY
Excellent quality, I usually order my extra virgin olive oil from Greece and it comes in a huge 5-gallon square can, but I like to use a lower cost brand for frying my french fries as most Greeks use extra virgin olive oil for frying french fries so I decided to try this Amazon brand. I am 100% certain that anyone from the Mediterranean region of the world would approve. I personally prefer a robust grassy and peppery flavor, this oil has a strong peppery flavor but lacks grassy if that's what you're looking for? But it's ok, If I can't have both the grassy and peppery flavor, I'll accept either one of the two any time instead of a mild Extra virgin olive oil. A strong peppery taste in extra virgin olive oil is caused by high levels of the antioxidant oleocanthal, while a strong grassy taste comes from the use of early harvest olives. Both are indicators of a fresh, high-quality oil, with peppery oils being more pungent and grassy oils often having vegetal notes like cut grass. As far as my choice for french fries, I mix a 1.1 ratio of one bottle of Extra virgin olive oil to 1 bottle of light olive oil so that it's not too strong. I also bought the Amazon light olive oil (refined) so that I can mix the two together for my french fry oil only while I use the extra virgin olive oil strictly for other dishes. I store my french fry oil in a separate stainless-steel pot with a cover and I use it several times before I dump it.
