Way better than alternatives. Neat, clean, more capacity, easy to use, recycle grounds & filter
So much better than alternatives I tried. The EZ-Cup allows maximum coffee to be used, easily! Totally clean disposal of filter and grounds in the recycle bin. More over, with no side outlets, it runs all the water down though the coffee grounds, achieving maximum flavor extraction, so you can either get stronger results with the same amount of grounds, or the same strength with less coffee grounds used, because you don't have to fill it all the way if your grounds are very strong. Follow the instructions on the box, but again you don't have to fill all the way. After being disappointed with other non-recyclable pods and other messy or lower-capacity refillable pods, I am totally delighted with this EZ-Cup refillable pod and filters. Note that I am using the Keurig K-Mini Plus machine, and while it works great with standard non recyclable pods, I don't want to continue to use pods that have a non recyclable combination of plastic bodies with aluminum lids that cannot be completely removed, or separated from the plastic without undue time and work. So in order to continue to use the Keurig, I have tried alternative refillable pods, and this EZ-Cup system works great. It also saves money compared to pre-filled pods, but does take a little extra time. I recently saw on TV that prefilled recyclable pods are/or soon will be on the market, so it will then be just a matter of either cost, or the option of using the exact coffee you like, if it isn't available in truly recyclable pods. Which is another benefit of using refillable pods, i.e. you can use whatever coffee you want, and you can fill them with the amount of grounds you prefer, after trying various amounts. Note I have learned that you can use less if the coffee grounds are stronger, or fresher, and use more if the grounds are weaker or older. A smell test is a good way of telling how strong the grounds are!

Better for the environment and easier on the wallet
Works great and saving me a bundle on k-cups and much better for the environment. It also allows me to control the amount of grounds for a milder or more robust cup of java. Fits great in my Keurig and seals well. Very simple to use and easy to clean. Built well and I expect to get many years of life out of this item.

Not for New Kurigs with 5 holes
The description did not mention that the plastic ring on the top does not allow the extra holes so the filter will not work - the lid won't even close. To check your Kurig for compatability, feel under the Kurig top. If you feel any bumps around the center 'sword' puncturer, then this will not work. If the center punture is the only thing that is not smooth on the top, then this should work for your model. If you have used cup. If there is one hole, this is ok. If the used cup has multiple holes, don't get this one.

Great replacement for the plastic version
I was using the plastic versions and upgraded to the metal. It works really well and well worth purchasing.

This is fantastic!
The last time I tried a reusable k cup was nearly a decade ago, and I hated it. I like my coffee bold and black, and I could never get the full-bodied cup I was seeking, nor did I love the grit left at the bottom of the cup. As a result I gave up on the idea and found two different kcup coffee offerings that I enjoyed and called it good, until... One of the preferred brands was so inconsistent it got to the point that 50%+ of the cups were undrinkable, and the consistently dependable brand has suddenly been off for the last few large purchases. Struggling through coffee I'm not enjoying prompted me to revisit the idea of grinding my own beans and a reusable kcup. Most of the available offerings are identical to those I'd previously tried and discarded, and I really didn't want plastic. When I found the stainless offerings by this company I was intrigued. Because I want a BOLD cup I moved away from the two Cafe models, worried that the water would pass through more quickly resulting in a weaker cup of coffee. I was concerned about the possibility with the EZ-Cup as well, but of the three it seemed like it had the best chance of hitting the mark, though I was somewhat skeptical it would work like I hoped it would. I made two cups of coffee with it this morning, and my expectations have been exceeded. I started with Papua New Guinea (Vienna), a dark roast from Coastal Coffee Roasters, and chose to do a semi-fine grind. I loaded the EZ-Cup, and lightly tamped the grounds before snapping on the lid. For the first cup I chose an 8oz brew to get as bold a cup as possible, and I must admit when it started I wasn't hopeful because the output stream looked a little light. As it turned out, looks were deceiving. To my unexpected delight the EZ-Cup served up a rich, full-bodied, and delicious cup of coffee that didn't taste watered down in the slightest. Could the coffee have been made stronger using another method? Certainly. Did that matter? Not at all, because the cup was well-balanced and full of rich flavor. I repeated the process with my second cup, with the exception of making a 10oz brew rather than 8oz. I was curious to see whether the bold flavor held up when pushing more water through it, and it absolutely did! I couldn't be more pleased with this product, and the two fantastic cups of coffee it gave me straight out of the box. I definitely recommend. I should also mention that the filters are excellent as well. The other thing I hated about reusable cups I've tried prior is the mess, which the filters completely contain. One other thing to note about the hot temperature of the EZ-Cup after brewing- I found that by opening the lid of the machine after making my first cup it had cooled down enough to handle by the time I drank the first and was ready to make a second.

Too hot to handle
Works like the plastic ones but it's too hot to handle if you want to make more that one cup or if you want to empty it immediately

Great Filter System.
This is a great solution for adding a paper filter for diterpenes from your coffee. The stainless steel outer cup fits perfectly into our Keurig coffee maker and the lidded filters ensure that the grinds stay out of you cup. It's easy to clean and adds very little hassle to the process. I'll buy this again for sure.

Removed one star because it's a lot more challenging to make two cups of coffee in a row because this is so hot, much harder to do than with the plastic version.
