Makita T-01373 38 Piece Impact Drill-Driver Bit Set , Black

Nice set. the phillips bits are super tough and fit perfect in screws, I use the dewalts #2's because they never disappoint me and they are easy to find in stores, but i really like these ones and i wish i had more. the bit holders magnet is super strong, and the impact drill bits are great! i did find that the 1/4 and 5/16 bits are extremely hard to remove from your gun after you run in a number of screws, not sure why, maybe the coating is thick or the hammering of the impact makes tighter, but after having to use my pliers to get the bit out after everytime i threw my 1/4 away. other than that, its a good set with solid bits and a great bit holder.

Use these for electrical work - great small kit. My only gripe is the bits sometimes get stuck in an extension and you'll need to wrench them out.

Almost all Phillips head bits with only a few drill bits. One bit was bent and can't use.

REally and I mean it. You can t go wrong whe you buy Makita products. If you want to do a quick easy home job you could go to a 99c store and spend 10 dolars in junk. Or, you can take your time, do your homework and surf the internet for a while to find a bargain like this. Get a product that will last a life time instead of breaking nails or hurting hands with metal/plastic scrap.

Bought this as a "just in case" and like most tools, days after you buy it you find a use for it! Sure enough, I needed to pre-drill a hole to screw something into the wall and this 38 piece came to the rescue like it should. Only downside is it doesn't fit in the case that the FD02W comes in, so it has to go in the tool box. Luckily, easy to find in its pretty cool little carrying case.

This set has a nice variety of bits however the second time I used one of the wood bits the bottom of the by broke right off in the drill. Also the magnets fell out of the nut drivers immediately. Just poor quality over all. I am an electrician and have used a variety of different brands of tools and I would really not recommend this set.

Good bit set for the money. Covers pretty much anything you need except for larger drill bits (and specialized bits). Universal so you can use it for any drill. I use these with my Makita and Metabo drills.

I've been using drill bits for over 30 years and have never seen anything like these. For starters, all the bits are covered with a sooty black substance that leaves dark smudges all over your hands. Not the greatest when touching white walls while working. Second, the drilling bits have a brittle silvery shaft on the bottom that cracked into bits (no pun intended). One when I took it out of the holder and another when I used it in the drill, leaving pieces of metal inside the drill itself. DO NOT BUY these bits. Total waste of money. Unfortunately, I did not find out until it was too late and I cannot return them. I had much more faith in Mikita. Now I have to buy a whole new set of bits.
