Wonderful Product!!!
These crystals work beautifully! The windows that I made in my construction grade gingerbread looked amazingly clear & truly beautiful when I swirled liquid food coloring directly into the poured isomalt. They even Tasted Great, & it was the very first time I had ever used Isomalt!!!

Easy and fun to use.
Melts nicely. Theres just enough isomalt to make a large dome for my Christmas cake. I’m just learning to bake and this was fun and easy to use. Don’t have to add anything. Just dump bag in pot and boil.

Works great!
I was confused on how to use this to make lollipops as there are different methods based on the type you get and there are no instructions. Just pour some crystals in a pan. It’ll melt and then you can add oil based flavoring, food coloring, etc. You don’t need to add water. You don’t need to wait for it to get to a certain temp. If it’s liquid, you’re on the right track. Once it’s set, use a torch to heat a bit and get rid of any bubbles. Wear gloves-it’s crazy hot.

It did what it was supposed to do
It functioned as it should. Learning curve on using but helped to thin the chocolate for dipping

Great isomalt! Fun to work with!
I've never tried working with isomalt, so was kind of buying blind with this brand. I'm glad I chose this! It was very easy to make, and for my first try, just wanted to do a very simple cake top. It turned out super cute! Came out bright and shiny. Can't wait to try some more complicated projects! I will buy this brand again.

First timer - very easy to use
This worked perfectly for the windows of a gingerbread house I made this year. Tip: do not use instructions that tell you to mix isomalt with water to melt it. Unless you use distilled water (who has that on hand?), the water will react with the isomalt and give your windows a yellow color. I found directions that have you microwave just the crystals (use a heavy duty glass Pyrex measuring cup) for several minutes (3 minutes/cup; depends on the amount needed) and swirling periodically until all crystals melt. You then pop the measuring cup with the melted crystals into an oven that you have preheated to 275 degrees (F) and let it rest in there for 10-15 minutes. This removes any cloudiness and most of the bubbles from your isomalt. You then need to work very quickly to pour your isomalt. If it begins to thicken, return to hot oven for a bit. This method allows you to achieve a truer color if you plan to color your isomalt, too. You add the color after microwaving but before putting in the oven. Carefully add color as it bubbles, then you mix it fully in.

Perfect for blowing sugar.
My go-to sugar when I do any sugar work. They do not turn yellow when heated up too high which gives the result a crystal-clear color.
