These are GENIUS! Mess free painting- only need water. Let them dry out and use them again! My nieces loved these - even my busy 2 year old niece was entertained for quite some time! Great for a wide range of ages. Functions as expected and size is as described. The book itself is nice and sturdy. The color when “painted” is somewhat light but not a deal breaker. Well worth every penny !

I love these so much that I've bought two different versions and will be purchasing more in the future!! These are super fun and keep my toddler busy! I normally keep one seperate and in their diaper bag for when we're out to keep them entertained. It's fun for LO's to see an activity that they haven't seen in a while!! The brushes do break if my LO is being really rough, but it's easy to find replacement brushes/pens or you could even just buy a pack of paint brushes and get a cup of water.

The books themselves are adorable! However, the pens didn't work very well for my daughter. The pens don't fit a lot of water in them, and for some reason the water just doesn't flow very easily from them, making it hard to do the water painting. We've basically transitioned to just doing water finger painting on the books instead, which eliminated them being able to be used in car rides (which is what I originally purchased these for). They are still a great value for the price, if you're mostly only looking at the books and don't care about the markers being a wash.
