CULINARY EDGE - Dutch Oven with Glass Cover - 4 Quart

really, really like this pan............especially the handles on the side and top that I don't need to worry about getting burned............perfect little dutch oven

I ordered this pot as it was the same brand and style of one I had bought years ago at a local hardware store and we use that one constantly. The first time I boiled water to make chicken breast for my dogs it gave off a horrible, chemical smell that lingered in the house for two days even with a fan turned on. I scrubbed the pot with a brush and washed it twice in the dishwasher. Sure enough, when I tried to boil another chicken breast it let off the same horrible smell. I am returning it and ordering a different brand. It is a good looking pot and the handles stayed cool, but not worth even $1 with that horrible odor.
