Lots and lots of sums, word problems and conversion questions. Keeps the kids engaged and supplements school study. Also has self-tracker/performance tracker if you wish to keep track of your kid's progress. Good to build mathematics foundation for kids

I use this series as part of our maths curriculum with my home-educated son. The book is very clear and easy to use. There is plenty of work for him to do so he doesn't use the book up too quickly. I also find some maths books suddenly jump levels and get a lot harder, whereas this series is very good at getting progressively slightly harder so that students progress slowly and steadily. Each page has three different tests - all mental arithmetic but a slightly different emphasis eg. the third test is slightly more wordy with problem solving type questions. It is an excellent curriculum with no gimmicks.
