Follow instructions for a perfect result
Easy to assemble but be careful when you get to the last step of assembly. I learned the hard way. Do it exactly in the order on the instructions. Once I got it all together the result is an awesome, strong, easily adjusted table. Totally perfect for working on a laptop from bed or the couch. Plus you can fit dinner on the same surface. Big win.

Sturdy and well made
I was very impressed with the quality of this table. Assembly was very easy and the size is perfect. The rolling wheels and height adjustment work smoothly- It is a great value for the price

Good buy
Great quality. Took a bit to put together, but works great for my father in law in assistant living.

Ease of use for eating while bedside
I had a family member return from the hospital in December and she was still shaky when it came to sitting at the table. Considering she is either on the couch or in bed for the time being, I thought it best to procure a similar medical table like the one she ate with during her stay at the hospital. I discovered this medical over bed table, which had helpful features for the great price listed, such as wheels and it is easily adjustable. The setup was simple and only took about 20 to 30 minutes to complete. However, the only reason I gave this medical table 4 stars was because there were two small cracks on the board and the packaging wasn't damaged, so I assume it may have been defective. Thankfully, Amazon provided a replacement.

Exactly what I wanted - a sturdy, mobile table for my laptop
I got this table to use while relaxing in my lounger in our game room so I can comfortably play World of Warcraft and browse the internet on my laptop. I'd previously used a lap desk, but I wanted a free-standing table not reliant on my lap. I'd looked at some smaller laptop tables, but wanted ample room for my mouse and whatever else, so I thought a table like this would be a great option. Overall it went smoothly, but there were a couple things I thought would be helpful to point out. Packaging The table was packaged well and the table top wrapped in plastic to protect it. All the hardware was packaged neatly and numbered according to the instructions. There were two straps around the box to keep it secured, but you could tell people had lifted it by those straps so they had cut into the box slightly. That didn't appear to cause any damage. My only packaging complaint is they screwed the mounting bracket through the plastic so I had to loosen the 8 screws to cleanly remove it. Assembly & Instructions I assembled this myself in a leisurely 30ish minutes. Some of that time was spent getting tools and petting dogs. You will need a large Phillips head screwdriver, 10mm wrench and they say a 16mm wrench, which I didn't have in my wrench set, but I used a 5/8" wrench successfully instead. I thought the instructions were very well written, easy to follow and clear. I included photos of the instructions so you can decide for yourself. The only assembly challenge I had was in step 5 - the holes didn't align properly. So I loosened the nut in step 4, adjusted the bracket and everything lined up. So maybe wait to completely tighten the nut in step 4 until you've ensured those holes are lined up. Lift Mechanism In reading the reviews, I was a bit worried that any time I barely grazed the table, it would pop up and fling my laptop across the room. That is not the case, fortunately. I can bump the bottom of the table pretty hard, and it only slightly moves up in small increments. If you open palm the bottom of the table (like waiters hold serving trays) you can slide the table up. It's not the smoothest action, since the lift rod keeps it from flying up, but it's not bad. I set my drink on it, pushed up and was fine. Nothing wild happened. The lowering lever is easy to use (especially when installed correctly). I'm starting to get arthritis in my hands and have somewhat poor grip, so it's nice to be able to use this lever with ease. Lowering is very smooth and simple. Sturdiness I expect to rarely have more than my laptop and mouse on here, so I'm not super concerned about a weight limit, but pressing down on the table, it feels sufficiently sturdy. Quality Structurally, I think the quality is great. It didn't take much to put it together and it feels strong. The table top does have some small chips around the edges where it was cut and I imagine I'm going to wear it down more by resting my arms on the edge. If it gets bad, I'll just wrap it in a PVC countertop wrap (like from EZ FAUX DECOR, which we used in our kitchen). The wheels are pretty basic wheels, nothing fancy, but they work great. Size The tabletop measures 15x30 inches. I can comfortably fit my laptop and mouse with room to spare. Overall This table is exactly what I wanted. It was easy to put together, it's easy to use and it's very sturdy. I'm so pleased with this table and recommend it for anyone wanting a reasonably priced, decently-sized, roll-around table that fits nicely around furniture. I hope this was helpful!

Top choice
If you are in need of an over bed table this one will work for you. Very sturdy and rollers work well. A ratchet set will make assembling it much easier.

Table Arrived Missing a Part, The Agony and Ecstasy of Tech Support
1 Star, 04-15, apx 46USD, ships-sold by Amaz, Missing a Part and Working with Drive Medical Phone Tech Supp is So Uneven, Trust Me: Don't Risk It--Buy a Different Brand. 04-22-15 UPDATE: An update dated 04-20 never took--weird--so I'll try again. I have returned the table for a refund and refused the part kit which arrived today. I prize solicitous, invested, caring customer support from vendors for such items and when I am given short shrift this early on, I know it will not get better. If you are disabled and have bad hands like me, then good luck. It sucks bad enough to be a Microsoft customer under warranty, no one needs that kind of attitude from others. 04-19-15: I will update this review once I either get the part in the next day or two with a wrench kit from Drive Medical OR after I send back this incomplete item for a refund and shop a different brand. At the time of purchase, the product page did not list that you will need a phillips head screw driver AND a wrench. There are several large bolts so unless you have man hands coursing with industrial torque power, you will need two tools. NOW, know this: IF you decide to ignore my review and buy this Drive Medical product, but it too arrives missing parts, and you decide to give Drive a chance to make it right by calling them at 877 224 0946, Tech Supp, ASK FOR TODD in their FL office. He is courteous, responsive and competent, but make sure to ask for a REFERENCE number before hanging up. Though I think any company that has to correct its mistake should at least 2-day the part to you, I didn't ask for them to because they said it would come by UPS Ground in "2-3 days." If by some tragic turn of fate you instead reach a "Mike/Michael" in their CA office, HANG UP! He is bipolar, and I'm not exaggerating. He'll give you whiplash with his attitude switches on any call lasting five minutes or longer. He'll speak into the phone as if addressing you but don't fall for it, he's only thinking out loud, like a pin-ball wizard. He loves jargon but whatever you do, don't ask him to clue you in, to him 'em are fightin' words. He'll say "you're looking at the tri-fold assembly instructions, right?!" Silly me, I said no, because I wasn't; what I have is a single sheet with no folds. He became exasperated (?!), as if I was being a contrarian. I only thought I should be precise because what do I know, the table model he thinks I have has the tri-fold but the table I do have has the no-fold. KWIM? I could detail every hideous moment of the over-long call but I'll never get those 20 minutes of my life back and it's depressing. We end the call by him first saying I can call him in a few days, he'll give me his direct extension, I say ok, fine and then the very next moment he demands my phone number to call me. Oh no, there is NO WAY I'm going to go through this again. I say no, that's ok, I'll call back. I said I just don't think he and I were communicating, which also set him off and he said, in a voice shimmering with Why Doesn't This Person Notice I'm Doing Them a Favor and Act More Appreciative of Me, "is there anything else I can help you with?!" and I hurriedly replied "no" which he greeted with a slam of the phone in my ear. Ow. I called back a few minutes later and mercifully reached Todd who patiently heard me recount this pathetic episode of "The Drive Medical Customer Survivor Show." Todd, sounding perplexed and doing damage control said he'd try to find out what happened but he was sure that the wrench and part would be one shipment, not two per Mike. We'll see what shows up by Tuesday evening. If I don't get what I need by 801pm my time, I'll be filing for an annulment. I don't do unrequited love with a vendor who doesn't like the color of my money. Drive Medical, clone Todd, jettison Mike.

Can't beat it for the price. I bought this table prior to having surgery to have next to my bed during recovery. It holds all the things I need, and I can easily roll it towards me or away while in bed. This made items really easy to reach when I lacked mobility. The table was easy to assemble watching the video that's available on the item's page. We used the video more than the enclosed instructions. Seems like the manufacturer might have improved the item, as nothing sprang out at us when we were assembling it. There is actually a long screw that secures the mechanism while you build it, and it's the last thing to come out at the end, so be sure to FOLLOW THE INSTRUCTIONS! There was a small rattling noise once it was fully assembled, but turned out that it was the handle, and I solved the problem by wedging a small piece of cardboard in under it.
