The silicone is very thin

I bought this mold for soap making and it works great. It is a good heavy silicon so I'm not afraid to use it. My only problem is that it came from China and not the UK as the Allforhome site says it is based.

The shape is good but the material is really thin and soft... and it stains my soap... I am not very happy about the red stain on my white soap bars!! If you are making darker-color soap then this might be okay for you.

Works well when making soap. To elaborate, it is still recommended to put a greasing agent to help un-mold (in this case, Vaseline is recommended. To un-mold, just gently push the bottom upwards and it will come out easily and will fold easily back into place. I prefer pushing it back in place afterwards to make sure it doesn't take a weird shape.

If I didn't have a German-made silicone baking mold I would say it is fantastic! However, there will be some residue sticking to the mold and I have not found a way to make muffins so they'll come out clean. On the other hand it did not cost much and I can probably use it for soap making.
