Grand Theft Auto Liberty City Stories

Overview: Great game, roam among the cities, kill, save, jack cars, rob stores, buy guns. Gameplay: Storyline is great, when you're driving a car and you finish a big mission, the radio automatically turns to LCN (Liberty City News) and tells you the story, i always loved listening in on this. The mission are medium-hard and on bigger missions it usually took me over 10 tries, im new to the 3D GTA games, im an GTA1 and GTA2 player. Anyways, some characters include Salvatore Leone, Vincenzo, JD, Donald Love, Maria, and the reverend in the church missions on Staunton Island. Sounds: Great sounds for this game, guns sound realistic, explosions sound realistic, cars and bikes sound realistic, it's great. The voice acting is also hi quality. And i almost forgot the radio. 10 stations, ranging from rock, to indian music, to talkshows, to hip-hop and rap. And Lazlow is back! Graphics: D*MN! I couldnt believe i could get this quality of graphics on a PSP, but i knew that the PSP graphics were already good, but not this good. It's as good as GTA3 and almost better than GTA:VC (I've played them a few tries) Controls, tech stuff, ect. The controls are pretty simple. Here are the controls on foot: Analog Stick: Movement Left/Right buttons: Change weapons Down: Free aim Up: Special Mission L+Analog: Look or fine aim R: Target Triangle: Enter vehicle Circle: Attack/fire weapon unless a sniper rifle or rocket launcher, in which case you aim with R+Analog Square: Jump/Zoom in while targeting X: Sprint/Zoom out while targeting You get used to these controls of course. I'd give you the in car controls but im too lazy. Loading times, very very fast, the 3 islands are seperated by a short loading screen. The case comes with, the UMD of course, info packet which is like a mini-newspaper titled Liberty Tree, and comes with a map of Liberty City in 1998. Movies impressed me as well, great graphics as usual and great voice acting. also, NO MENU! You pop in the game, turn in on and it loads for 3 seconds and you're in Portland (First island) Houses: First was a little small, 4 rooms, and only 1 garage space. Second was better, 2 car garage. Third, you get a big 2 story pink house with 2 garage spaces and when youre done with the game, next to the house you get loads of weapons. Only downside is, the game was beat in one month. :(

Looked better than I expected on the PSP. Had fun playing it and it never stopped working for me. One of the few games I bought back in 2007 on Amazon.

There were multible times when people said that this game isn't finished, has many bugs and that the controls are horrible. All of this is wrong. I've played it and I have my opoinion. You can't crouch in this game, you can't block enemy's punches and you can't grab onto things. That's definetely bad. But that's not because the game is on psp(Rockstar Games are to blame)-don't blame the great console! The good thing is that the graphics are awesome, there is no difference between this and ps2 GTA games. Also, the game features almost everything that GTA games usually offer(Vice City stories offer more) and all that stuff is easy to find around Liberty City and enjoy. Plus, the game's story(though just a "bonus package" to GTA3) is quite interesting and funny. Liberty City Stories have some good music and, by the way, it is a long game, packed with lots of stuff for GTA enthusiasts.

In my opinion this game will never die, It will always be the best of the Grand Theft Autos. I say this because i have bought the game in the past for my little brother, and now for my son. They both say it is a great game, and that it brings back memories for them.

Game was in pretty good shape, with the original box. I was surprised to see the original map in there too! In very nice shape, almost like new. Good price too. 👍

what a blast im the father of 3 kids and could not put it down its like leaglized dope im hooked. im just learning the game and getting around the city is fun even on public transportation.its great you can steal a car and get the rush without leaving the comfort of you living room.if its running away from the police and commiting crimes your into this is the game with out the guilt and doing time in jail.i never thought stealing a police car could be so much fun you wont regret this purchase. add on the psp sound grip speakers there great for the money.

I love this game. Product came fast in the mail so I didn't have to wait long to start playing. This games is a must have if you have a psp. At the end of the day is Grand Theft Auto so if you have ever played the game on another system expect the same game experience on your psp. One of the best games if not the best game on the psp system...you just can't get better than GTA

I am an avid fan of Playstation 2 Grand Theft Auto 3, Vice City, and San Andreas, and have played all of them in their entirety. I really think this one is lame. Maybe it's just that I don't like the size of the PSP display, or maybe the tiny joysticks are too hard to control, or maybe I'm just getting too old, but the game bored me and I didn't play it for very long. I think I wasted my money on this one.

It's a nice game. Interestingly,It has 43 cheats......... Very good game.It is nice to play... Here are some main cheats armor- L,R,o,L,R,x,L,R health-L,R,x,L,R,square,L,R weapon set 1-up,square,square,down,left,square,square,right weapon set 2-up,o,o,down,left,o,o,right weapon set 3-up,x,x,down,left,x,x,right overall, it is an amazing game.... must buy it......Toni is a hero!!!
