Dogs love them!
My dog absolutely loves these dental chews! They're great for maintaining oral hygiene and freshening breath. The large size is perfect for my big dog and the 30 count lasts a good while. I've noticed a real improvement in his teeth and gums. Highly effective and he thinks they're treats!

Great for aggressive chewers.
Our Miniature Schnauzer puppy is a very aggressive chewer. These strips are long lasting and our puppy loves them. They're great for her teeth.

My picky dental disaster approves
After finding out my 2yr old had dental issues, and lots of visits to the vet/dentist. We take dental care extremely seriously. I was informed about some that can help from our veterinary dentist after the last cleaning. I was all for it. My picky dog actually prefers these to most other treats, and I think they actually reduce the amount of tartar in-between brushes while help keep his breath fresh. He loves the taste and they are awesome because it's a chew! What more can you ask for....

Serious choking hazard!
Edited UPDATE!! My original review is thrown out of the window. My dog has choked a total of 3 times now and regardless of the expense; they are going in the garbage. My dog IS a gobbler, I supervised him very well after he got a chew stuck twice. Even with intense supervision he still got a part of it stuck in the back of his throat choking him. It is dangerous. Please don’t give this to any size dog. I included a tape measure to show he tried to swallow in a picture. When it gets well chewed, it is softer and more pliable on the outer part of it. He thinks he can swallow it and it goes all the way across the back of this throat cutting off his airway. Please be very careful with this product!! I hope my vet takes my fear seriously enough to not recommend this!! Please read the entire review. Stars don’t really matter with this product!! I purchased this product on the recommendation of my dog’s veterinarian. Of course, the price point is much better for my budget on Amazon. The recommendation was combined with a dental chew by the same company that I purchased at the same time and have used in tandem for my 11 year old APBT. He has always had very bad breath; despite vet sedated cleanings. My dog loves to “get his lick on” and as he ages, his saliva has only gotten worse. My husband is his designated lickee that bears the brunt of the endless licking. My hubs has been complaining more and more about his breath and at my dog’s yearly visit, the vet told us to give it a try. It has taken 2 weeks, but there is definitely a difference. Again, I’m using 2 chews together. Since it’s working, I’m not switching things up for trial and error. I hesitantly recommend these rawhide like chews (treats). They are working; however, he has swallowed the last piece and the chew has been stuck all the way across the back of his throat, choking him, twice. Both times, I have had to reach in and pull the softened last piece out of the back of his throat. These chews are thick and very stiff at first and become pliable as it is chewed. He is a “gobbler” and swallows the last bit before he it has been chewed enough to be swallowed down. It would be so easy to just give him a chew and let him enjoy it on his own. DO NOT give this unattended. The first time, I thought it was a 1-off. The second time it happened, I know that it will happen again. This is not an inexpensive “treat” and it’s working. My dog treats it like it’s a last meal. There is pretty much no smell and he goes through all of his commands and slides across the floor and jumps on his bed for it every night when I open the bag. I now sit with him and monitor his chewing the entire time a treat is out. I take away the last bit before he has the chance to swallow it and choke. I put it on a paper towel to dry out to give it to him the next day with absolutely no problem. This has prevented his choking and there have been no further incidents. My dog is 65 pounds with a big head and I can shove my hand down his throat easily. If I had a smaller dog, I don’t think I would use it. Again, I can only recommend this, under very close, constant monitoring. I rated it 3 stars for the efficacy of the chew, which is working. I would use extreme caution.

My Sarge loves it
These are really good quality dental. My dog had issues with the Whimzees brand since they changed the ingredients he would throw up all the time . Then went to the vet and my vet recommended me this brand and my dog stopped throwing up. He looks forward to eating these after his dinner. I’m sure they are tasty and are fresh.

Fast and effective!
My 14 y/o cocker spaniel's breath was getting so bad, it was pretty much stinking up whatever room she was in. The water additives did nothing. The "minties" did nothing except give her the runs. She has a sensitive stomach, so I was concerned about trying other chewables, but thought this was worth a try. IT WORKED ON DAY ONE! And, her poo is more solid than it has been in weeks. She loves them, and I no longer have to light candles when she's in the room with me. Highly recommend giving these a try.

These chews are extremely hard!! I couldn’t break them after soaking them for 10 minutes and hot water. Become very slimy and I wouldn’t trust them for becoming a choking problem.. they’re not returnable so I guess it’s money in the garbage, not worth using them at the cost of my dog’s life.
