Good compact 24-hour 120 volt timer
Used the Grasslin timer to control a DIY attic blower system designed to cool the house during the night. Panel mount but with exposed terminal wiring so have to use insulated connectors (see photo). Have not placed the system in service yet but the system worked well during a test run. Timer captive set pins are very small and the clock indicator is a bit cryptic but it offers very versatile timing sequences.

Life Span Seems to be About 5 Years
This timer is German made and works fine till it stops working. I have this timer in my 6volt transformer for outdoor lighting. This was the third timer I have installed in 17 years. I guess they are made to last about 5.6 years and then they stop functioning properly.

Easy to replace and Great price!
The timers on our pool are original and about 40 years old. Over time the mechanism became worn and the timer stopped working. Initial research into replacing the entire timer (box and all was going to be several hundred dollars plus the cost of the parts. I decided to pull off the cover and quickly discovered that the timer can be easily replaced without replacing the entire box. So, for less than 40 bucks I replaced the timer and it is working perfectly.
