Q: Why can't it be stored in the sheath?

I store it in the sheath. It is a plastic sheath. Little oil on the knife and it is fine.

Q: Does the 420 instead of 440 stainless steel make it more prone to rusting ? Since it's a downgrade in purity of stainless steel ?

The difference in steel will not make it more prone to rusting but please be sure to store all of our Camillus knives dry to prevent rusting.

Q: Does the titanium bonding make it hard to sharpen?

The titanium bonding does not make it hard to sharpen as all of our Camillus tools are designed to be sharpened as needed.
