Best dry shampoo I have tried
Soaks up the grease and smells amazing! I have long hair that literally gets greasy by the end of a day after a morning wash, so this is an essential beauty product for me. love love love it! I have experimented with several dry shampoos, as well as corn starch which honestly works pretty darn well if you ask me if you are on a budget, but the con for me was that it was unscented, and I really like the smell of the Oscar Blandi. This does a great job at making your hair look fresh on a day off from washing... all you need to do is squirt a little bit onto your roots and rub/massage it into your scalp. I like the applicator tip because it prevents you from using too much. If I could I would give it 4.5 stars because I do think it is a little pricey, but for me this is worth the price because I use it often and it works fabulously.

Gets more than just the job done for an affordable price
I have never written a review for a product, but was so pleased with this purchase, I felt the need to write a review. This product does exactly what it sets out to do- refreshes your hair, absorbs the excess oil that builds up over days of not washing, and leaves a decent scent (although, it does take a few times to get used to the distinct lemon-like scent). However, it went beyond the expectations for me. I have medium length, baby-fine hair that does nothing but just hang there. With this product, not only am I able to go a few days without washing my hair to help keep my hair healthy and not over-washed, but I am able to create body and texture on the days I don't wash and instead use this dry shampoo. I can now even curl my hair and it stays curled throughout the day (as hair holds better and has a better texture when you go without wet-shampooing). I have gone up to 4 days with not wet-washing and instead using this dry shampoo and you would never even be able to tell. I find I also get tired of washing, blow-drying, and fixing my hair each morning, so this allows me to go three or four days a week without wet-washing in order to spend that time sleeping or creating a different look than my everyday same-old style. I had been using the baby powder trick for a couple years prior and it just is not the same. The texture of your hair isn't as pleasing, the scent is overpowering, it isn't as refreshing, and it doesn't blend into the hair and scalp as well as this dry shampoo does. This dry shampoo is completely worth the money and it might even change the way you do your hair. I highly recommend.

Oscar Blandi Dry Shampoo
I have chosen to review the powder dry shampoo by Oscar Blandi because I am very satisfied with the product. I would give this product five stars. I have been using Oscar Blandi for 1 year now, and have seen the results first hand. -Pros When using Oscar Blandi dry shampoo, I can go many days without having to wash my hair and strip it of its natural oils. When I use this product, my hair looks fresh, clean, and as I have just blow dried it. I do not have to worry about my hair looking oily and greasy. When I do not have to wash my hair every day, I have more time to do more important things. -Cons Although not many cons, if there was something I could change about this product it would be the smell. Oscar Blandi dry shampoo has a citrus like smell to it and it is not something I would like my hair to smell like. I would prefer that it smelled like a shampoo or conditioner product. One more con is that is expensive. Even though I absolutely love the product, I would prefer it to be five dollars cheaper. -Comparisons When comparing this product to similar products, it is nowhere near the same. This dry shampoo works like no other dry shampoo I have ever used before. I have used the Pantene Pro V spray dry shampoo and my hair was greasy in one day. Oscar Blandi Dry Shampoo is the only product of its nature that I will ever use. In conclusion, I would recommend this product to anyone. I have been nothing but satisfied with Oscar Blandi's Dry Shampoo. This is a top of the line dry shampoo and you will not regret purchasing it.

Love the smell, works great; hard to apply
I am in the midst of a lifetime pursuit of the perfect dry shampoo and encountered this one along the way. Unlike many other reviewers, I adore the smell. To me it's not at all chemical smelling; it has a light lemon scent that reminds me of lemon curd. The only downside to the scent is that it makes me want scones. It works great as a dry shampoo -- when I use it, it soaks up the oils in my hair really well and usually lasts all day. However, I've come to expect more from a dry shampoo, since so many are great at adding volume when applied to the roots of the hair. The Oscar Blandi sadly didn't accomplish this at all. I just use it on my bangs since I don't really want a lot of volume there anyway. The other downside is the applicator -- I feel like it would be better in a shaker-type bottle than a squirt-type bottle. It comes out in bursts and often I end up with a VERY white spot on my head that needs a few minutes of combing to go away. I feel like this could be a real problem for someone with darker hair. If this wasn't so expensive, I'd probably continue to buy it since it works so great on my bangs (which is where oil usually builds up the most anyway). Guess instead I'll just continue on my quest for the perfect dry shampoo.

AMAZING.
I LOVE this stuff I mean it has finally set me free from having to shower EVERY morning. Let me stress that I have tried so many other dry shampoos and it did not help or made my hair feel gross. I bought this the first time to give a try when I was traveling for almost 24hrs my hair would get so oily and a little bit of this was all I needed. I have dark hair and the powder is white so yes if you use a lot you can see it a little bit, however if you take a few min to work it in you cant see it anymore! It is a little pricey but for me it is well worth it, I NEVERRRR thought I would be able to go a day or 2 without washing my hair and looking disgusting and was so jealous of all my friends who were able to do that but now I can! Saves me so much time in the morning not having to blow dry and style every day. It's a really light weight powder and almost has a bit of grit in the powder which makes my hair feel clean and freshened while giving it lift. In my opinion this is what makes it better then any other because it does more then soak up oil.

LOVE this stuff!
First of all, I wouldn't be able to live without Oscar Blandi Dry Shampoo. I have a TON of thick, wavy hair and washing/drying/curling/whatever else takes me forever - hence, my love of this product. Secondly, I refuse to spend over an hour every morning just on my hair so this is a life saver AND allows me to sleep in for a lot longer. Not only does Oscar Blandi dry shampoo completely absorb any oil in your hair, it gives you a nice lift at the roots. After using this stuff, it looks like I have freshly blown-out roots. Also, I love that it doesn't leave your hair feeling icky and gross like some sprays or other dry shampoos. It's a little more gritty than baby powder and doesn't leave any hint of dandruff-looking white powder near your scalp. My hair is pretty dark and you can't see anything, just don't use too much. I've found it works better if you unscrew the top, shake out about a nickel-sized amount (depending on the thickness of your hair, I guess you might want more/less), rub your hands together, flip your head over, and massage/rub it into your roots at the crown of your head. I usually have to repeat this and do the same to the sides of my head also. I've read a review that compares the smell to "Fruity Pebbles" and I can totally see (or smell) that. It's not a bad odor, just kind of sweet smelling. Lastly, the ONLY con I have about this product is the slightly expensive price, given that I am a college student. But I swear, after using this sometimes I feel like I'd rather save money and skip a meal than go without this little jewel ;)

Good stuff, but its TINY
I like the product. It smells good, and works better than baking soda which makes my scalp itch. I knew I was only buying 1 ounce, but I was still kinda surprised to see how small it was. Its appears to be a sample size; it fits in the palm of my hand. My 3 year old daughter asked if it was shampoo for her baby doll. For [...], I was expecting more. This is the kind of size you would expect to see in the dollar bin up at the counter.

Best I've found
I agree with reviewer who said don't be afraid of the price. The first bottle lasted about 3 years using a couple of times a week. That makes it a great value. Also dont be afraid of the dated packaging. It's a good product despite the 1950s package design! I like the applicator tip on this bottle. Makes it easy to direct the powder and not use too much. It takes very little to do the job. I run a few light lines parallel, but not on my part. And scrub lightly in with my nails. It does have a lemony smell. I don't love it but I don't hate it either. Some others smell horrible. The newer versions of DRY shampoo that are sprays, I don't understand at all. It sprays on WET and doesn't seem to absorb oil. Doesn't work for me. I'm back to this one. It works. And lasts. Gives my flat hair body and often looks better and holds style better than after a real shampoo. 4 out of 5 stars because I wish their was a little less fragrance.
