I wouldn't normally consider facial cotton pads a luxury item, but these look and feel so soft and thick they really -FEEL- expensive. Definitely worth the price, they are absolutely premium cotton content! Speaking of feel, if you're like me and have a few sensory issues, these cotton pads don't feel as bad to touch as the more traditional cotton balls do, if you know you know. I like to cut them into small squares, use them to soak up acetone and place them on my nails to remove polish and other enhancements. They hold up well to vigorous rubbing on my nail surface without disintegrating, which makes the whole process so much easier. I also use them to clean my dog's ears, because they are so soft and a good size to get deep into her ear and get the gunk out. Because they are so large and plush, one bag lasts me over 6 months, with regular polish changes and ear cleanings, in addition to the other uses I find for these square cotton pads, including occasionally using them for their intended purposes; to apply my facial toner or make-up remover. I've got them on autoship I love them so much, could not recommend more highly!

Yes they're not cheap for cotton pads, but they are the softest and best ones on the market. I use micellar water to cleanse my face and these are great for less skin irritation when applying to my face. Buy these and throw away your drug store brand.

I really didn't think there would be much difference between the regular cotton rounds I get from the store and the Shiseido brand...I was wrong (don't tell my husband ) these cotton squares are SO SOFT and gentle on my eyes. I am 55 and the skin around my eyes is just so sensitive and I need to take better care of this area. The Shiseido pads have no rough edges, are thicker than most and absorb product very well which means I don't have to use as much. They are more expensive but I don't need more than 2-3 packs a year and that is about $50. I have no problem with that considering the quality of the cotton and the product.. I do wish the package was resealable, but that is just being picky.

Love how soft and thick they are! Very durable! I have very sensitive skin so these are perfect for using toner or cleanser and not having to worry about them ripping or irritating my skin as I’m applying my skin care. Also, love how many come in the package!

Love these cotton squares. Perfect for skin care. Gentle on your eyes - soft and fibers don't come off. A bit more money than drug store brand but worth it.

I use these to make the wicks for my vape. I keep them in the provided package which is satisfyingly soft (and probably recyclable). There's 165 squares that measure 6.5 x 5.5 x 0.5 mm (L x W x H). I cut each square into 4 long pieces, approx. 1.5 months worth of wick/square (a whole pack will last 20 years lol). As for the quality, I find them extremely soft - softer than the organic cotton pads I use for facial purposes. They are easy to work worth, very absorbent (I think I get better flavor, too), and are easy to fray for wicking purposes. I've read other reviews about them not being as soft as the used to be but they are still the softest ones I've used. As for the 4 stars, I can find them cheaper elsewhere but that's the price I pay for convenience.
