BenQ TH585 1080p Gaming Projector, Low Input Lag for Gaming, 3500 Lumens High Brightness, Built-in 10W Speaker

I decided to get a projector when I needed a tv and a friend suggested this. I did minimal research because tech isn't really my bag and this seemed to be a good choice.I am beyond happy! It's brilliant - picture quality is fantastic and great that I can move it between rooms and into the garden when the summer comes.The fan is a little noisy, but I hardly even notice it. The sound is ok, but not great, but I just plug my beats pill in and that solves that. So much better than the TV you would get at a similar price. Very happy!

I had two of these and both didn’t last a year...Not worth the price tag, and their customer service are poorly trained. The issues I had with the first one, some of the questions they asked were pointless/showed a low understanding of the product.Gonna shop around cause I’m not willing to buy from them again despite the good reviews I had seen online.

The media could not be loaded. UpdateIf you're sensitive to the Rainbow effect this one's going to anoy you. When watching a movie I keep seeing a rainbow...my eldest son can see it too. Also keeps turning off and searches the source which is annoying.May return due to this. Picture quality is beautiful though.Update 2I've figured out that the HDMI long range option has to be changed as it it would keep searching for the source. Now it may search for source a few times...it may be my Sony Amp so still testing. Got use to the Rainbow effect and don't see it now...playing Street Fighter 5 is amazing...my little girl loves playing this now. Watched more movies and its great. Let's hope the source searching stops...if not will return.BenQ is one of the best projector manufacturers. I'm just gobsmacked how good it looks for a 1080p picture. Been testing all day...in the daylight and night...pretty good for day picture and absolutely perfect for night. I would've given this full stars but the speakers are crap...like crap radio speakers...good thing I have everything plugged into my Sony Dolby Atmos Amplifier. I have a 100inch 4.3 screen which cost £50 from Amazon and we watched The Batman and it looked and felt like I was in a cinema. My son played on his PS5 and his games looked awesome. The pics and video I posted don't do it justice. For less than £600 this is the one for you.

Better picture and colour than I was expecting.... and great price

We adore this. So glad I plucked up courage to buy it without any real experience of projectors.Pretty easy to set up.We play it onto a wall with off-white paint. No problem. There are options to specify this.We don't watch everything on it. We save it for film nights, but that's largely due to the shape of our room, where we have to move furniture to get the biggest picture.We can now watch all of our much-watched movies again and they all look so incredibly different. Lord of the Rings, Die Hard, Aliens, even Psycho looks soooooo different. Tbh, it's like seeing the movies for the first time.

I have a work room which is fully glazed to the outside all down one side of the room. On one of the hottest days this year the picture from this projector was still bright enough for everyone to see, room is about 8m 10 metres long. Easy to use as well. tried cheaper models but this was by far the best

Absolutely amazing value for money! Who needs a cinema ticket again!

not bad quality of the picture but extremely cheap screws for tilting the projectoralso losing the synch very often (with Macbook Pro)and quite expensive if you consider the disadvantages
