Solid, looks great & legal to carry
What a stunning pocket knife. Solid build with a decent weight. Not terribly sharp, but I can soon sort that. Good quality leather pouch. Looks amazing! Well worth the money - very happy with it.

This is beautiful and well made Tool. Weighs well in the hand.
I bought this knife for dealing with packaging and daily use around the homestead. Extremely sharp and very sturdy. It is a well made nicely balanced tool which feels nice to hold and use. I would have liked a black sheath, but compromised because of the look/quality of this knife. Highly recommended. Thinking of ordering a few more as gifts for my son & family. 5 Stars - will revisit review after a couple of months use.

Mixed Bag: A Review of the Dessi Handmade Damascus Steel Blade Knife
The Dessi Handmade Damascus Steel Blade Knife is a mixed bag of features, showcasing both its strengths and weaknesses. While it possesses high-quality craftsmanship and a satisfying weight, there are certain aspects that hinder its overall performance. Starting with the positive, it is evident that this knife has been crafted with exceptional attention to detail. The construction exudes quality, showcasing the skills of the artisans who brought it to life. Its weight distribution feels well-balanced, providing a comfortable and ergonomic grip, which is vital for extended use. Furthermore, the design accurately represents what one would expect from a Damascus steel blade. The distinct wavy patterns found on the blade give it an aesthetic appeal, showcasing the traditional beauty associated with genuine Damascus steel. However, one downside is that there is no definitive way to verify its authenticity, leaving some uncertainty for those seeking a true Damascus steel experience. Unfortunately, the knife arrives dull, which is quite disappointing. Considering the reputation and expectations associated with Damascus steel blades, one would hope for an exceptionally sharp edge straight out of the box. This lack of sharpness necessitates the buyer to invest additional time and effort into sharpening the blade, which is an inconvenience and a missed opportunity on the part of the manufacturer. As a result, the need for sharpening slightly tarnishes the overall experience of owning this knife. It is essential to note that not all customers may possess the necessary skills or tools for sharpening blades, which can lead to frustration and dissatisfaction. In conclusion, the Dessi Handmade Damascus Steel Blade Knife offers some commendable qualities such as high quality, accurate representation, and a pleasing weight and feel. However, the lack of sharpness upon arrival and the requirement for additional sharpening diminish its overall appeal. While the knife is enjoyable to use after sharpening, it loses a star due to this unfortunate initial flaw.

A real piece of craftsmanship
I have been thinking of picking up a pocket knife for a while, and have quite an interest in the forging process so wanted to pick up something with some real craft in the making. This knife stood out as hitting a lot of the design cues that I liked - a Damascus blade, bone handled with a mosaic pin. The extra detailing on the back of the blade and the bird-etching on the brass hinge are lovely and speak for the pride that goes into making the item. The blade is nice and sharp straight off the bat, and snaps into position sturdily when opened (but crucially does not lock). The blade comes in at ~2.5 inches so is legal to carry in the UK. I wanted a piece of craftsmanship as much as a pocket knife, and honestly that is what I have been sent. It came with a free credit-card sized multitool as well which was a nice touch. I could not be happier with my purchase.

A work of art. Beautiful knife that's solid and very sharp.
I lost my old lock knife and it wasn't legal to carry, so I splashed out on one of these. It's an extravagance, but a lovely, functional one. Very happy with my purchase.
