This is a very good collar. We only use Martingale collars for all of our dogs and this is a quality collar. However, it took a return to get a correct size. One of the answers submitted by the seller states that the large collar is 13-20" which would fit our needs. When the large collar came the smallest it would adjust to is 19". We returned it for a medium which is the size we need. We have a 6 month old GSD who is about 55lbs and I doubt he will ever need a large. The medium fit at the smallest size and we've adjusted it out once.

I have purchased two of these and I am very pleased. The martingale style ensures that the dogs can't back out if they're being stubborn on a walk. The buckle is a great feature because it allows you to quickly remove it if they get caught on something or each other. The first one was purchased about 2 months ago and looks brand new without any signs of fraying. These run MUCH larger than most collars/harnesses/clothing. My dogs are German Shepherd and Coonhound mixes and normally wear L-XXL. They wear a Medium in these collars. The Large looked like it would fit a mastiff or saint bernard.

Overall Impression: This is officially our favorite collar. We’ve been using our first one since September 2022, and it’s still in such great shape that we just bought a second one as a spare for the car. ​Fit & Sizing: Our dog is a fluffy 40lb pup, and the Size Medium fits her perfectly. ​What Makes It Different: ​Dedicated Tag Holder: This is a huge win. Most "cheap" martingale collars don't have a spot for ID tags, but this one does. ​Comfort: It sits comfortably loose when she isn't pulling, which makes me feel safe letting her wear it indoors. ​Durability: After over three years of use on the first one, there is no fraying or hardware failure. It is worth every penny. ​The "Pup" Test: Our dog genuinely loves it. When we pull it out, she runs over and boops it with her nose! ​Minor Wishlist: I do wish they offered more colors (I’d buy even more of them!), but the blue we have is beautiful. ​Final Verdict: If you want a long-lasting, high-quality collar that is safe for daily wear, I highly recommend this. Please don't ever discontinue these!

I've used this collar on my 60 lb golden retriever for almost 2 years now. It's held up really well. When she pulls it tightens but otherwise it's loose. I use the medium 1 inch wide. I recommend the 1 inch over the 3/4 inch if your dog does any pulling - I think it's safer for their neck since the pressure will be spread out over a larger area.

I got two of these, one for my 39 lb lab husky puppy that pulls a lot, and the other for my anxious 45 lb german shepard that always slips out of her collar when she doesn't want to go somewhere (like up the stairs). For my german shepard it worked GREAT- she did not slip out of it at all when we went up stairs, and she really really tried. They do look adorable! For my puppy it didn't help at all with the pulling, even after trying different tightness on the collar, loose or tight, it did not help the pulling. Still keeping them because they look great and look durable, we've only had them two weeks but so far so good!

I love the durable construction, the color, usefulness and comfort provided by this collar. I like the unique feature it has. There's an attachment on the collar where you attach the leash. If the dog tries to back out of the leash it will tighten to a point that helps prevent the dog from sliding out of the collar.

Love the quality. But too big Wish I read the reviews a bit more. I just measured and ordered. I’m watching 6 dogs and I ordered to be able to walk them safely together I’ll give to my neighbors large dogs. And just use the dog leashes around mine. 😕

I've used only this collar for my dog for years. The buckle works great and I never feel like it might give out, even when my strong dog is pulling with all of his weight. I've replaced these only because the color fades after a while, or I want a new color. Otherwise, they are durable and could last forever. Caution - do measure your dog and look at the size guidelines. While my dog is a large in most accessories, he is a medium with this collar.
