Have an older Costco Jimmy Sticks board and was a perfect fit replacement

I bought this because my brand of kayak didn’t have the replacements in for over a month. I took a chance based off other reviews and this works great. I use it with the ELKTON STEELHEAD 130 and it is more solid then the OEM.

My solstice kayak skeg was originally only 6 in. height. the skeg I ordered on amazon is 10 in. height. the 10 in. skeg fits perfectly on my solstice kayak. no problem there. 2 things to keep in mind: 1 ) the 10 inch skeg will guide my kayak better. especially on lakes or high river levels. 2) a 10 in. skeg will drag on the bottom of low rivers. I perceive this to be a problem in the future. my wife and I kayak low level rivers in ctrl ohio. we may be dragging our kayaks through shallows w/the 10 in. skeg vs. the 6 in skeg.

The original skeg on the Johnny Stinx (costco) skeg required a small threaded not and bolt- like thing with a very shallow slot to tighten. This is not to mention easily losable. We stack a couple of boards on top of our boat to use our on prince william sound and have to remove the skeg to stack them. This is so much easier and the pin is bungied to the skeg.

I got this for my iRocker 11' inflatable SUP as I lost the original. The original used a screw type fastener. This one uses a tab based fastener that seems to be a better design. It is also a little longer and shaped slightly different than the factory fin. It could just be in my mind, but this seems to allow me to track a little better. I would suggest getting this just to keep in your onboard kit or tied to your webbing because there isn't much worse than being 2hrs into a 4hr paddle and losing a fin and having to alternate every 2 strokes to keep it straight. I keep a spare on me all the time now.

Needed a replacement for the fin on my Jimmy Styx Thresher. This fit perfectly and is actually a better design than the original as it is kept in place with a clip rather than a screw. Highly recommended.

The original version I had required to install a screw with a bolt every time; this version has an attached pin that clips into the same hole -- a great improvement !

Exactly what I needed. The fin fits my old windsurfer board perfectly. The make is Hi-Fly. I had bought it in Germany in 1986. The Company is no longer in operation. The statement that it should fit a 10 or 12 inch standard fin attachment point was exact. It did fit. Thanks Amazon.
