Not a bad book but needs updating

Great book for ww paddler, A movie would be better, Oh, II did purchase his video on rollig and that was excellent.

All the new concept of the new era Kayaking . Is very useful Book… I surest to translate to Spanish

Everybody knows EJ's an innovator and a great paddler. What I like is the explanations are so clear and there are drills which any level paddler can use to refine your skills.

no to clear if your native language is not english..

I am very left-brained and this book is very easy to follow and he includes good color pictures and step-by-step directions and he includes exercises to reinforce the methods.

I think this book is well written, schematic, with few clear concepts to focus.If you are serious about learning kayak, this can be a great tool.A book alone is not enogh to make yo a better kayaker, but the great news is thatyou can have for free a view of the strokes described in the book, just look youtube:https://www.youtube.com/user/paddleeducationThen you will need your strong will, and keep on repeating the basics,EJ did a great job, keeping concepts simple to understand.

I have referred to this book over and over again for ways to improve my whitewater paddling, both on flatwater and on easy whitewater, to give me confidence to take on harder rivers. Before I had children and stopped paddling (!) I was paddling confidently on grade 3 and a bit scared on grade 4 rivers. Now I'm using the book mostly on flatwater to try to keep up some skills for when hopefully someday I can go away on whitewater paddling weekends again.

I purchased this book as a present for a keen canouist who said he enjoyed it. The book arrived on time and in good condition.
