Best Arr-Around Flashlight!!
Just the best available flashlight for utility and emergencies! Kind of expensive, but do you want "cheap" in a crisis? Bright, beam is a bit adjustable, solid construction! Simply nothing comparable. With care, should last a lifetime.

Strong light
Again, Maglite is the bomb! Slightly smaller than the 4 D size battery unit (hubby's), but fits this lady fine with 3 D size battery.

Durable and cheap
I remember these from the 90s. These new ones have more lumans and a switch that requires less effort to activate. The beam isn't as adjustable as those 90 ones but they are using the same tough aluminum. Durable and cheap!

Disappointed
The beam "adjustment" by twisting the head is a joke. It only alters the beam a small amount- definitely does not go from "floodlight to spotlight" by any means. Still a decent light that feels very sturdy in the hand without feeling bulky. 3 D-cell is the sweet spot imo for a practical flashlight and you can feel MagLite still has some pride in manufacturing aside from the beam adjustability.
