Janome 5060 QDC Sewing Machine with Extension Table, 60 Stitches, LCD Display

I have arthritis in my hands so am unable to thread or use my old machine I could cry as this one is SO easy and I sewing again. The thread cutter is marvellous and the auto threader is great and so easy to use . I had stopped using this on my old machine as you had to hold it down while trying to thread, not on this one, you click it down and then have two free hands. its really quiet and stable and doesn't move about. The extras with this machine are really good too, 5 feet as well as an extension table, a quilters foot, a button hole foot and then all the normal things like spools, needles, screwdriver and brush etc. I would highly recommend this machine to anyone from a starter to an experienced sewer. It has 59 stitches, a start/stop button, needle up/down button and an auto thread cutter. it was especially made for a quilter so you can alter the foot for thicker material. I don't quilt but I love this machine!

I've had Janome machines for years. Solid, good quality and never had an issue,. This updates my previous machine. Highly recommend Janome.

I bought this for my wife who is machinist to trade, experienced in all aspects, soft furnishings, clothing, kilt maker ( present job with industrial machine). She was looking for a machine she could use at home. She is happy with everything this machine has to offer, thread cutter, automatic needle threader, numerous stitches and extension table. It’s not cheap but is good value for money as offers a lot.

Excellent sewing machine, I love the needle threading and thread cutting feature. It also comes with a quilting foot bundle which was brilliant.

Brilliant. Love the automatic cutting and the simple bobbin threader. Great to have the choice for foot peddle or automatic feed. Much lighter than my previous machine.

The sewing machine is fine. Perfect. Arrived with faulty needle threader. Easily user-replaceable part for ~£7. But Amazon paradigm seems to be to write the whole item off and return for refund. Could not contact seller through Amazon. I bought the press-fit part from an online retailer. All Good now. It is a capable machine. which I am enjoying using. It has a range of useful stitch patters and comes with presser feet to suit many needs. Nice thread cutting inbuilt. Pedal controlled or button stop-start. Lock stitch at start and end of sew line. Hours of fun, or a good little work-horse. Did not arrive in Amazon packaging, which I opted for. It arrived in manufaturer box with delivery labels applied. Don't try to order this as a surprise gift!

Great machine . Very light Janome quality. Wonderful value. Excited to be using the machine.

I own two of these and enjoy sewing on them. The instructions are clear. The machine is sturdy and isn’t too loud. It is heavy, though, due to its sturdy construction, so if you are planning to haul it around a lot, be aware that it is not light. I haul mine around occasionally and the weight is not a problem in those cases, but if I was hauling it frequently I might want a lighter machine.
