Big Book of Crosswords 1

Wow...and wow and wow! I really enjoyed the hours I spent trying to work it all out. Really worth the buy. Use a pencil to fill in.. And if your memory is as bad as mine...erase them afterwards. You can redo them next year feeling the same thrill and enjoyment

Wish I knew it was based on British slang words and vocabulary. Also, my Amazon order still shows that it’s out for delivery even though it was delivered weeks ago??

I’m only about 7 puzzles in but this is a good crossword book. Not too hard, not too easy. Some of them I return to the next day and feel like an idiot when I realise I missed something so simple the day prior. I have replaced doom scrolling or reading in bed with this because there’s no blue light and it is calmer than a book which doesn’t tend to relax when it grips you. I have slept better and I think about the clues during the day which must be helping my brain in a multitude of ways!

I found it pretty difficult but I am not used to doing crossword puzzles and English is not my first language Good for learning new words that I wouldn't have otherwise

If you are looking to get into doing crossword puzzles and want them to be in English, this is a great book for you! It has a good amount of puzzles to keep you occupied for a while. My boyfriend and I have loved doing a few puzzles before bed instead of mindlessly scrolling on our phones, we have enjoyed it a lot!
