Very Informative and easy to read
This book was very easy to read and got to the point straight away. It was very straight forward to follow and I have learned a lot from it. I will likely be referring back to this book when I come to build my own PC in the future. Highly recommend.

Informative book on the basics of building a computer
Been thinking of building a computer recently and have been combing through different resources, found this one of the more useful resources on the subject, even explaining some parts of the process I wasn't sure about when finished reading/watching them.

Do you know your cmos from your bios?
Christmas present for my 14 year old son who has been constantly wanting me to install upgrades to his pc. He now feels confident to try doing it himself.he also now understands more about how a pc works which is nice.

The 'Inside View' shows colour images, but the reality is they're in black and white!
I purchased this book to help in building PCs. I thought it would be easy as the images shown on the Amazon site are all in colour. So, when I read on page 20, "You should have at least four SATA ports on your motherboard (or possibly more), as you might notice that they are not all the same color (as in figure 2.9)" I was miffed to see the four colours are pretty much the same shade of grey! It's annoying!
