Its red and black and goes zap, zap, zap.
Coil works awesome (if you are not a mechanic it may be hard to put this in, not very plug and play). But hey I am a mechanic, so it was a breeze for me.

Nice upgrade to original coil. This master blaster will keep the plugs sparking.

Improved performance
Installed this along with a new ignition module and new distributor on SUV with about 90K miles. Can't tell exactly where the credit goes, but I can definitely tell an improvement in the performance of the 4.3 V6. (MSD 8231 Blaster Replacement Coil)

saw and increase with torque and fuel mileage... mated with 8.5 mm msd plugs..make sure spark plugs are of good quality...

Performance for OE COST
Better than OEM, for nearly the same cost.Amazon service and price of course beats them all.Top notch product, though do be warned.. this can easily burn up your stock distributor caps.Make sure to buy high quality cap/rotor packages.

Works great.. better spark and trans shifts better...no problems on installation and its carb compliant in California

Never did work right
First thing it kept blowing HEI modules so I swapped to CDI box then it had a really rough idle and would cut out above 3200 rpm. Replaced it with a stock style coil and now my truck runs perfect. It makes a good paper weight.
