Turkish Spicy Pepper Paste, 700 G

Really love this. Much better than tomato paste. Spicy and aromatic.

I was concerned when I received the spicy pepper paste, but wasn't too hot in my recipe. Gave a great flavor. Well worth the purchase and can be used instead of tomato paste for additional flavor in the recipe.

I loved the flavor and taste. I used it to make Turkish Pepper Bread. I wasn't crazy about the bread, but the sauce is useful and flavorful. I'd purchase it again.

I don't know anything about Turkish food or spices and found a recipe that I wanted to try. It called for "spicy pepper paste". (jalapeño is spicier than this, fyi) This is the most delicious thing we have ever tried. We've been putting this on everything: eggs, chicken, cheese, crackers, roasted vegetables. I made a salad dressing out it of too! I'm glad it's a large jar because it would have been gone before I got to make my donar.

After eating at a wonderful Turkish restaurant, my wife gave me a Turkish cookbook. One of the ingredients that is often required is red bell pepper paste. Instead of making it at home, I decided to purchase the pepper paste from Amazon. It has a wonderful aroma and flavor - think tomato paste, but made from ripe red bell peppers. The one thing to note is that there is quite a bit of salt already in the paste, so make sure to account for this when cooking.

I always buy this brand, but first time ordering from this seller. The jar started molding immediately after opening. No matter what I do, I can’t stop it. Unfortunately most of it is going to thrash. Don’t buy.

This particular brand was recommended by a Turkish cook I found online whose recipes I liked and I couldn't find it in stores near my home. I finally gave up and ordered from Amazon and am -- it adds a familiar piquancy to Turkish recipes and I've found it adds a nice flavor to others as well. Worth keeping in your fridge.

This is great with just about anything you’re cooking. It adds that extra flavor you can’t get any other way. Authentic and great taste. Not loaded with chemicals.
