Great Quality, Great Price
Just as well-made as much more expensive alternatives.

Use Pex Expander Rings with these fittings
As Avery C. and Marc Cram noted, these fittings are exactly the size of the ID of the intended hose as opposed to being 1/32 oversized as many other of this type of fitting are. This makes it imperative to use a strong clamp to keep them tight in the hose. I generally prefer using a ferrule rather than a hose clamp to hold these, since ferrules are more streamlined and less prone to failure. Whenever the hose diameter permits, I now use Pex expander rings rather than brass ferrules (which are more size adaptable). They are quicker, smoother and more easily removed if needed. I use the Pex rings for both air and water hose and they work GREAT!

High quality of manufacture. I can recommend.
High quality of manufacture - for $3.00 apiece (per Brass hose Barb Fitting) I can't complain. PROJECT I COMPLETED: Along with these brass hose barb fittings... I used these Stainless Hex nuts --> https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B078TLNJ9P/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o04_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1 and this 3/8" clear hose tubing... https://www.amazon.com/review/review-your-purchases/?asin=B07PY96B3Z&channel=YAcc-wr-thankyou&ref_=ryp_hz_thnk_l_2&pinnedAsins=B07X3FXTYX along with drilling a 1/2" hole near a bottom corner of this plastic tray... https://www.amazon.com/review/review-your-purchases/?asin=B07PY96B3Z&channel=YAcc-wr-thankyou&ref_=ryp_hz_thnk_l_2&pinnedAsins=B07X3FXTYX I was to make an overflow catchbasin / drain for an occasional leakage problem in my house. It works absolutely great. I can recommend these brass fittings.

Ok but Could not find a Socket Size to fit the Clamp Nuts.
Resorted to a small Phillips for the clamps.

Great Value, a Real Surprise!
Item arrived in excellent condition and very quickly. Quality was better than I expected, as the material wall thickness was better than the items found in the big box stores. AND, they threw in the hose clamps as well! Very pleased with this purchase.

Definitely don't have the barbs or threads their Lowes and Home Depot counterparts do.
They seem OK, they were the right size, but they clearly aren't machined to the standards or quality that the big hardware store versions are. Too bad, as I wasn't trying to cheap out when buying these. The reviews would have suggested a better product. I won't rate them too badly, as they fit the description, they only clearly are not machined at high quality. Time will tell if they actually last.
