Goulds 1.5 HP Shallow Well Jet Pump

I used this pump in conjunction with a Cycle Stop Valve. I now have a CONSTANT and amazing 65 PSI running into the house. The pump produces around 16GPM at 65 PSI . . . my sprinklers can be running and still take a shower with FULL power! The wife is happy with shower pressure - much more pressure to rinse her hair. The sprinklers have NEVER shot water so far . . . I need to get a few adjusted. WARNING: When you purchase a Gould's pump online . Gould's will NOT honor warranty. This means you need to ship back to Amazon seller. . . this can get expensive. I saved a lot purchasing this unit here on Amazon. I am going to buy a backup pump in a year or so . . my water well guy is the one that told me to get at least 24GPM . . I am glad I did! Well worth the extra money.

Great value for a pump that is probably overkill for our shallow well - we're expecting a very long life!!!

Excellent pump quite powerful, but needs attention to priming, it took several hours and actually letting it sit for an hour did the trick, even with bleed open and filled.

Was easy to install. Runs good. No issues. Highly recommend.

I got the pump to have as a backup pump because price was good. After setting in the box a few weeks to a month my old pump went out I installed new it ran a few hours with no issues then I lost water again because pump overheated. Checked wiring out everything was correct so I started it back up and minutes later it shut off again! Called company and never heard back from them and it’s been a month with no word!. I took the old pump apart put a different diaphragm in and re installed! Now this pump is a 800$ shop shelf ornament! Now I’m trying to find a motor to replace the burnt up one with!
