Easy to use, wash and reuse. A great idea. Fits your standard tin great

These are brilliant up to 9cm diameter - so good for standard tins, drink cans, pint glasses etc. as well as smaller rims. They don’t leak, they wash well and don’t hold smells. But they will only stretch to 9.5cm (3 and 3/4”) and then only if placed very accurately with vertical-sided shapes. I would give 5* for product, but not for seller’s description.

These lids are just right for covering open tins and jars when the contents are not all used at once. In addition, I set up mini batches of sauerkraut to ferment, making up just one standard jar size at a time and use the lids on those as well. I live alone so making small quantities lets me eat what I make while it is still fresh and also lets me experiment with new combinations. It is so easy to "burp" the jars as needed by lifting the lid tabs. The pink lid here is on a batch of red cabbage sauerkraut. The blue lid covers an experimental batch of sauerkraut using red cabbage, mooli, red pepper, onion and root ginger using brine from the blue lid batch as a starter. It turned out fabulous!

Be aware! Technically these do stretch to 4 inches, but as the seller warns in the difficult to find Notes, once they are even slightly damp they are VERY difficult to fit. Example: I bought these to cover cream and yoghurt pots in the fridge as Tesco no longer supply the plastic caps. Fitting a dry silicon lid is fairly easy but upon taking the pot out of the fridge to use some of the product it is extremely difficult to refit the silicon lid as it continually slips off one side as you stretch it over the top. This is due to the very slight amount of moisture the lid picks up when you remove it from the cold. With a smaller sized container it would probably be easier. If you want to cover pots larger than 3 inches I would look elsewhere.

I was getting so fed up with using clingfilm or foil (in a pinch) when only using half a can of something - I felt it was wasteful and not actually sealing things properly either - so I thought I'd do a quick search for lids after remembering my parents using dog food lids for our tins when I was growing up. Came across these nearly instantly, and for some reason just wishlisted them, for a month or so. When I finally ordered them and they arrived I instantly loved them! Quick and easy to use with multiple sized tins - even the smaller sweetcorn tins - make a tight seal so liquids don't get out and germs don't get in, and even better, they're super quick and easy to wash and re-use! 12 Is far more than I needed so I gave a few to my mum and she loves them too!

These lids are very useful and last a long time. Flexible, stretchy and durable. Would buy again. Very easy to clean and much better for the planet.

Great little item! I have been using these for years. They are dishwasher safe and last a long time.

Muy útiles para tapar botes y vasos. Se limpian fácilmente, a mano o en el lavavajillas. Llevo usándolas mucho tiempo y están como el primer día. Al ser de distintos colores, puedes usarlos para diferenciar el contenido sin necesidad de escribir.

Un’idea semplice e realizzata ottimamente. Comodissimi ed efficaci nella loro funzione. Io li ho presi per sigillare, in frigo, le diverse lattine del cibo del gatto, che sono di misure leggermente differenti. Da 6,5 cm fino a 8-9 cm sono perfetti. Leggerissimi, morbidi e molto elastici, sono anche simpatici da vedere; piaceranno molto anche ai bambini per sigillare il vasetto dello yogurt, del budino oppure una tazza, una ciotolina. Geniali anche quelli per le bottiglie, perfettamente ermetici. Spero che durino nel tempo. Il prezzo un po’ altino per quello che sono: si paga l’idea, e l’idea funziona.

Franchement, ces couvercles en silicone sont super pratiques. Je m’en suis servie notamment pour refermer les boîtes Edgar & Cooper de mon chien, qui ne finissait pas toujours sa portion d’un coup. Les couvercles sont bien extensibles, s’ajustent parfaitement, et ferment hermétiquement les boîtes. Même après plusieurs passages au lave-vaisselle, ils n’ont pas bougé d’un poil. Le silicone est de bonne qualité, souple et résistant. Très bon produit, je recommande sans hésiter. ✅ Ajustement facile et hermétique ✅ Silicone de très bonne qualité ✅ Passe au lave-vaisselle sans souci ✅ Parfait pour boîtes, bols, bouteilles, etc. ✅ Très pratique au quotidien ❌ À ce rythme, je vais finir par mettre un couvercle sur tout ce qui traîne 😅
