Inner Child Cards: A Fairy-Tale Tarot

I have around 20 Tarot decks and I got this one in just this week. I have to say it is one of my very favorite decks already. The artwork is brilliant and almost child-like, but beautifully enlightening. The suits are hearts (cups), crystals (pentacles), magic wands (wands) and swords. The cards relate to characters from well-known fairy tales. The Fool card is Little Red Riding Hood. The accompanying book very succinctly and eloquently describes the meaning/tales behind each card. It's a very positive, uplifting and upbeat deck. I did the five card C-H-I-L-D reading (described in the book) this morning and it was right-on, as if the cards had known me from the get-go. I don't think I've ever gotten such a wonderful first-time reading from a new deck. I have to disagree with the reviewer who said this deck isn't for beginners. I think this deck stands alone and that anyone could quickly learn the basics of Tarot with it. The cards are over-sized but easy to shuffle diagonally. They come in a sturdy storage box which holds the cards and book nicely. I highly recommend this set if you're ready to learn more about yourself and this journey we call life.

Super difficult to find with both the cards and the book. The cards are huge which will make them difficult to shuffle, but it's ok because there are different ways to shuffle and the details of the pictures are easier to see. Due to the large size of the cards, the thickness is less sturdy than I'm used to. All in all, it's a sort of novelty deck, best used for limited occasions to preserve the cards. I don't regret buying them.

These are beautiful cards. I’ve given them as gifts. The messages are wonderful. The illustrations are gorgeous. It’s packed in a beautiful way for safe storage and the book with the messages shows you many layouts and the explanations of the cards are so helpful. If you’re looking for a beautiful and upbeat connection to spirit these are your cards.

I am terminally ill, and I purchased these to see if they could be a form of comfort & guidance. First of all I have never seen a more beautiful set of tarot cards. The artwork is just amazing, from the ornate and delicate borders to the central images. Each and every card is so highly intuitive: you could pull any card and just gaze and gaze at it and find so many meanings and surprises. Large sized cards, but they are easy to shuffle using the side-by-side technique. The very large guidebook that comes with the cards takes you by the hand and gently into the cards and its world of tender, humane fairytales. It has helped me immeasurably as a sorce of comfort, guidance, tenderness in my illness.. I would recommend these to ANYONE who is: ill or elderly, or trying to recover from an emotional trauma of some sort (divorce, bad relationship, loss of loved one, etc.) These cards are a godsend.

Like someone else said, I wish I had read the reviews on these cards. My best friend has the older edition of these and they're made out of card stock, so I was extremely disappointed to open these and find the "cards" are now practically made out of printer paper. I'm sad because I love the artwork and depictions of the tarot in this deck, and I'm not sure how I'll be able to find the original edition cards. I'm definitely returning the deck.

The cards are beautiful and the art is good. However, the cards use completely different system and if you're used to tarot system like me, I have to keep referring to the book for meaning. There's no true negative card so it's great for children but I don't read for children. The cards are HUGE. I have small hands, I can't handle and shuffle them, I doubt children can. Also, the cards stick together a lot even when I use on my silk cloth. Overall, it's beautiful and it offers uplifting message. But It's hard for me to read since I have to keep reading the book. It's interesting deck but I don't see myself using it often. It'll be my collecting deck with positive messages when I need it. If you like fluffy tarot deck and if you read for children, I recommend it. If not, I say skip.

Precio de compra: 24,90 euros. Lo bueno: El colorido de las cartas es alegre: como atrezzo (para ser vistas de lejos) al desplegarlas en la mesa se forma un grupo colorido, vistoso, interesante y muy bonito que alegra la vista. La caja es resistente. Lo malo: La caja abulta mucho. El material de las cartas parece de broma. Existen revistas cuyas portadas son más sólidas que estas cartas. Las ilustraciones son muy mejorables, a través de las diferentes cartas se ve claramente el estilo inconsistente en el dibujo, el típico de alguien que o no sabe dibujar o que intenta copiar dibujos creados por otros. El libro (omitiendo referencias al contenido) es aire: todos los márgenes son inmensos, la letra es grande. Abulta un espacio absolutamente innecesario, podría ser la mitad, incluso un cuarto.
