Overall. Good value for general use.
This is an ideal addition to my first aid kit. Given I have ankle problems, if I twist my ankle, it doesn't take much to become a bad sprain. Having one of these to hand helps target the worst areas of pain. It reduced its temperature quite quickly. The material used is sturdy - especially useful because I have a cat with very sharp claws - and it doesn't cost a massive amount of money to buy. I could pay a lot more for a cold compress that is made specifically for ankles, but if I hurt my foot or ankle slightly outside of the one made for ankles, then it won't be of use for me. To target the correct area I just use some tubi-grip style bandage over the pack, and it stays in place quite nicely. The size is good for general use. For the price, it's great compromise for occasional use. If you started adding things like a velcro strap, then the price is obviously going to be increased. Therefore, this is what it is meant to be. A low price additional to a first aid kit. Don't buy one at this price thinking you're going to get more. It does the job it's designed to do.

Cool Comfort, Day and Night
This reusable ice pack has become an unexpected household hero. Originally bought for first aid—bumps, bruises, and the usual scrapes, it’s really come into its own during this spell of hot weather. We’ve wrapped it in a soft cloth and placed it behind our necks and shoulders just before bed… the difference has been blissful. It gently lowers our body temperature and helps everyone drift off much faster, even on stuffy nights. Bonus points for being reusable, mess-free, and quick to refreeze. Honestly, it’s the bedtime equivalent of a glass of ice water, simple but powerful. Whether you’re nursing an injury or just need help staying cool, this little lifesaver deserves a spot in every household.

Works fine
Works perfectly fine for what it needs to do - But I do wish it stayed hot for longer. Sadly mine did burst after a few uses and heating up for a tad too longer - When I noticed It puffed up, I stopped heating it, but it still ended up bursting. Be careful! Still, cheap enough to get a replacement. Doesn't come with a cover, so needed to wrap it in a clean shirt.

Perfect medical cool pack
Bought for post vasectomy, flexible and soft enough to ease that swelling! Easy to wipe down for future use for any bumps or swellings, great value for money and gets cool enough from the freezer and stays cold for a long time

Easy to use
I use this as a heat pad, not tried it cold yet. It warms up really quickly, 30-45 seconds in the microwave. The gel sometimes heats unevenly in the microwave but just moving it around with your fingers for a minute or so evens out the heat. It stays warm for about 10-15 minutes for me, enough to use as a warm compress. There’s no boiling needed to reset it, as with some other heat packs, just leave it until needed again and then pop it back in the microwave (or freezer if using it cold). Good price for a reusable heat pack.

good for casual use, but not ideal for many repeated uses.
Great item. Sadly they both broke. One through repeated use for a month. And the gel started leaking out (the cold one that lived in the freezer) and the one i used to "heat" was just a bit pathetic it didnt really warm up well to a point the bag popped in the microwave. Over all i got some good use out of the cold one, but heating was not great.

Everyone needs this in their freezer . 💯 recommend.
Everyone needs this in the freezer. My elderly mother fell and hurt her ankle. Thanks to PRIME i was able to sent these down to her to wrap around her foot. She has found these comfortable, holds it coldness , and has helped with ankle swelling. The Velcro strap helped her hold it on ankle.

Toxic Gel? exploding into microwave, no ingredients for gel listed
I bought the Safety First Aid Group HypaGel Premium Reusable Hot/Cold Therapy pack a few months ago. It was OK to start with but exploded in the microwave today. The side split and most of the gel contents spilled out into the microwave. What concerns me the most is the Gel ingredients are not listed on the pack or anywhere on the Amazon website or the Safety First Aid Group website. What is the Gel made from? What does it consist of? Is it toxic. I am worried as it went in my microwave which prepares food and the Gel may be toxic. It should not be sold without listing what the contents are made from. I am very worried it is toxic.
