very good product
I've used these filters in my under sink for drinking water for years. It works in conjunction with my whole house filter system. The filter removes any micro particles that would make the water taste bad.

Perfect fit!
Worked perfectly in our R.O. system as a replacement filter.

They work well enough
These are a little shorter life cycle filters than the Dow finisher (filter #5). I keep the Pentair in the 20" big blue prior to the softener and the RO. I'm sticking with these as long as the current RO system holds up.

Not sure if I got a bad batch, but they're not removing any chlorine
I use orthotolidine to test the water before it goes to the membrane. Unfortunately, the water isn't being scrubbed of it's chlorine, even after going through two of these hydronix carbon blocks in series. It's a 50 gpd membrane, so it's pretty much the best use-case for them. Even with that slower water flow, these carbon blocks aren't doing the job, at all.My setup:5 micron filter > 10 micron carbon block > 10 micron carbon block > RODo a basic chlorine test before you run these in your system and possibly destroy your RO membrane.
