They’re juicy (like canned peaches) and bluebirds love ‘em! Birdwatcher’s Choice Canned Mealworms are the easy alternative to feeding live insects. Soft and moist, birds readily accept them as they would live mealworms.

Watch out for the weight
At the time I ordered the product, the dimensions were listed as 2.8" x 2.8" and one pound in weight, with a shipping weight of four pounds. What I received is a can that contains 2.4 ounces of mealworms, which I returned for a refund, but the dimensions seem to match the size of the can. Hopefully they will change the listing--and the price--to reflect what you actually get.

Seems like a good product
This seems like a good product and the grubs are moist and life like in a sealed can BUT my birds prefered the dry roasted (and cheaper) mealworms that I placed side by side.Go figure....

mealworms
My sugar gliders love these, and I appreciate the convenience. Living in the boonies, these are a great option over frequent long drives to a pet store.

More economical size
At the bird store I've been paying 11.99 for 3.5 ounces. I would say that this last maybe two weeks or so. It is more economical to buy by the pound even with shipping. I don't know why dried mealworms aren't cheaper than that but my bluebirds love 'em!

THIS LISTING IS NOT ACCURATE, BEWARE
I ordered a six pack @ 2500 worms per can, and I got ONE can of 2500 worms. Picnic World said amazon made a mistake in the listing and their price in $15.99 for ONE CAN! I have to return the can to them and then complain to amazon to get the $8.02 shipping back. Ridiculous.
