Loud and clear time and date and it is easy to update.
I bought this for my grandma who has dementia and can’t always understand numbers very well anymore. The watch is loud and clear so she can hear the time and make sense of the dial which has distinct clear numbers on it. Pressing the button a second time gets the date which she also likes to check often as she has a hard time keeping track of the date. I recently had to change the time for DLS and it was way easier than I was expecting. The dial is set with the knob on the side just like any watch and to set the spoken time you just push the inset button below the knob and is speaks instructions on exactly what you are setting. It is easier with a tooth pick or pencil but I also managed with my fingernail. It even said there was a way to set a spoken alarm but she doesn’t need one so I have not tried that. The only thing we changed was the watch band because it was much too big for my grandma’s wrist and very stiff. Otherwise I give this 100%.

Easy and flexible time-setting
This is the best talking watch I have had out of three. The adjustment button is reset so I don't accidentally bump it and turn on the alarm. It does NOT synchronize to the US time signal from Colorado and allows me to manually adjust the time for wherever I am. The audio adjustment prompts are clear and easy to understand.

Time on watch does not match time by voice
When time change took place the voice giving the time didn’t change so watch was giving 2 different times. Also now it doesn’t speak the time at all. Such a shame because my dad loved his valentine gift from me and now it’s useless since he’s blind and can no longer hear the time!

EXCELLENT PRODUCT
THIS WATCH IS TOP QUALITY AND I WAS SURPRISED AT THE VALUE. THE TIMEPIECE IS WELL WEIGHTED AND METAL UNLIKE OTHER ITEMS I TRIED THAT WERE PLASTIC AND CHEAP. THE VOICE IS LOUD AND UNDERSTANDABLE. THE LEATHER STRAP CAN ADJUST TO MANY DIFFERENT WRIST'S, I AM A MALE WITH A LARGE WRIST. I AM VERY IMPRESSED WITH THIS TIMEPIECE AND BELIEVE I FOUND AN UNEXPECTED VALUE.

Works
Could be louder and more clear for elderly people, but works out of the box. Easy!

Can't change the battery.
Easy to set, no problem there but after having it only 9 months it stopped working. If we could figure out how to open the back of the watch, we would change the battery. We know how to change watch batteries, have done it before but there is no way to get inside this watch!

Too hard to hear, vloice is too soft.
Did not like that the voice is so soft, it cannot be heard by the limited sight person it was designed for.

the only thing is I cannot get my son's watch to say the year - when I program it - the year is said but then when he uses it it only gives the time and the day and day/month and date but no year. Not sure why. My son is handicapped due to a life altering accident so knowing the day and date is what he requires as he has very limited short term memory but he can tell the time himself. Had a different one but it was so hard to program with the time changes and eventually although it still talked the time would not reset on the face. This one is much simiplier to set if something happens.

Bought as a gift.

It worked out of the box。 The audio is clear and easy to understand。 It was loud enough for my brother who is legally blind。 He loves it- it gives him a bit more freedom。 I highly recommend it。

Pros - Easy to set up. Clear instructions. Loud enough Cons - No instruction on how to change the battery. Went to manufacturer's website to see if I could find the battery instructions. Nothing there and I also found out that the watch sells for $3.00 each. I'm sure shipping them is expensive from China to Canada, but I might order 10 of them directly.
