Fits perfect 👌
So far so good fits perfect. Just put alittle lubricant on the rubbers and it will slide right in.

Great replacement part for R53 Mini Cooper. Installed it myself in 30 mins.

Works great for an R50
The fuel filter came with all necessary seals and fit just fine on a Mini Cooper R50 (2004, non-s, manual). As the other review indicated the seal for the top of the housing is a slight bit thinner than the OEM seal. To supplement for this I tightened the lock ring a tad bit more, took the car for a drive filled it up with gas and monitored the seal without the seat or the cover plate on. I did not notice any gas spilling out nor a smell. Overall worked great, giving it four stars because of the slightly thinner seal.

Works
Purchased and installed in our 2006 Mini Cooper. I would only recommend installing this if you have done alot of automotive work. There are You Tube videos to watch that show the process.

Filter works
Filter and o rings fit just fine. Gaskets for the fuel tank cap did not fit. Slightly larger than the oem one so it wouldn’t fit properly and caused a leak. Both gaskets did not fit properly.

Installed this in my mini cooper s. After installing it the car would not start. No fuel getting to fuel rail. Removed the housing from tank and found that the filter glue had come apart and the filter was in pieces. The filter element is like cardboard and fuel could not get through it. Bought the factory filter, 64$ and car fired right up.
