SUPER-BOWL!
This Lipper International Bamboo Wood Salad Bowl is the proper size to hold two heads of lettuce, salad fixin's,spaghetti for six or other large serving chores from kitchen prep to your beautifully set dinning table. We searched high and wide for a "wide-enough" salad bowl that would make a wonderful addition to a table setting. I gave this bamboo bowl to a friend as a gift. She couldn't believe its beauty, color and shape. It's used each and every night at dinner, serving a family of five and sometimes more. It's been used for almost a year with no signs of wear and still has its like-new patina. If you need a bowl to handle salads, pasta, meat dishes, etc. this bowl is it. The price is right and quality superb.

Durable and beautiful
My wife has been using this bowl for about two months and loves it! The bowl is 14" wide. This gives you room to maneuver. Using a mezzaluna/ ulu type knife with its curved blade , makes short work of greens for a salad. The bowl is holding up very well and is easy to keep clean. It is also very decorative for use on a dinner table.

Love it!
I like this bowl a lot! At first sight I thought it wasn't deep enough even though I haven't made many salads. I made my first ever caesar salad from scratch...the best ever! Now I love this bowl. It's beautiful, sturdy, well constructed, and perfect for making caesar salads. Before using it I thought of returning it, now you'd have to pry it from me. I love this bowl, it's the perfect size to make up to 4 servings of salad. It great for everyday use. I washed the bowl with soap and water the there was no fishy smell on the bowl. It cleans very well.

Super big!
This is a very larget fruit bowl and holds everything very well! I wanted something really large, yet with a low profile and this was the perfect fit!
