Achla Designs Round Hammered Copper Plated Galvanized Tub

I bought this to use for kindling. It's the perfect size and it looks really nice next to the wood stove.

This beautiful copper tub looks great next to my gas fireplace filled with birch logs. I've found other similar buckets to be much more expensive. This is a great value for money.

I bought this container to fill with wood for the wood stove. I sprayed it with lacquer prior to use so it would help decrease scratches and maintain the color. The pictures are after one winter of heavy use. It would get filled with logs daily. We were pretty rough with it, yet it held up nicely. I would highly recommend it.

I love this tub!!! I got so tired of all the beer cases and unopened water bottle packages cluttering up my floor waiting for room to open up in the fridge, and this beautiful copper plated tub is a perfect place to store all our drinks. I have not added ice or water so I don't know if it would leak, but since I only use it to store unopened bottles and cans, I can recommend it for storing anything in your kitchen, or anywhere. It is not made of heavy material, so it might be susceptible to dents if handled roughly.

Nice sized bucket - have not noticed any leaks because I use it for firewood and another for dog toys. Looks nice next to the fireplace - sturdy construction to completely pack full of logs and handles seem to hold the weight fine. Reminder - this is a steel tub, not copper. It is copper painted - not as shiny as in the picture and is a bit darker than your typical copper color that copper mugs, tea kettles and pots/pans etc are.

This is perfect size to hold small split wood for starting wood stove fire. Looks nicer on the hearth than a plastic bucket! We did spray with lacquer in and out as suggested. Have been using it for several months and looks great.

Looks nice, but the copper rubs off… it’s got a bad spray tan!

I was thrilled to find this copper tub to put next to my hearth... I intend to use it for random fireplace accessories... fire-starters, flatwood, matches, gloves, etc. I have a copper ash bucket already and wanted to match the tub if possible. I thought this was a steal at 42$ if it was what it appeared to be in the description. The description says it is a copper finish... the picture looks like a copper finish... the image has highs/lows of shine and depth inherent to copper. HOWEVER... this is not really a copper finish; it is simply coppery-brass colored paint on a steel tub. The paint is a matte color...not even metallic! You could probably do better to buy a steel tub and create your own copper finish with some metallic paint from your hardware store. Luckily I am putting the tub far enough away from my beautiful copper ash bucket to prevent the obvious differences in quality. I am keeping it because I don't want to fool with returns and cannot afford the higher priced real copper tubs. Shipping was lightning fast, well packaged and item seems to be well made.

I use mine to hold wood for my wood stove. It hold a evening worth of wood plus .. It looks classy against the dark brick work. yes its worth the money paid.

It's actually a few inches deeper than advertised, which is good because we are using this to make a water feature for the garden. It's a really nice piece. It would look nice indoors as well, for blankets or firewood.
