It contains dozens of screenshots and dummy data to start creating reports. Ideal for managers that already know what PowerBI is about and have a concept on KPIs. I completed it in just three days.

I am an absolute beginner to Power BI. Heard of this software before. Interested in infographics and data visualization. Exploring into these areas to help in my work. Waiting for author's book on Tableau. Few things I like about this book: 1. Sentences are in point form (easy to read); 2. Each point is accompanied by a screenshot (important for absolute beginner); 3. Screenshot could be bigger in kindle version. Generally a good book to get one started on Power BI.

This is a great tool for a “what buttons to push” familiarization of power bi. I have recommended it to coworkers as an easy way to introduce themselves to this type of visualization tool.

It help me to understand more how to develop useful data and create automated information. I recommended to have this knowledge.

I am a little disappointed that this book is not in color. It looks like a print out that was binded. I haven't read the whole book yet , seems to have key topics covered but for almost $30 I think the font and color could be better esp with the cover binding being so colorful. If I knew this I wouldn't of gotten it

It is a good book for beginners. In a simple way you learn creating dashboards and graphics. I would have liked it to include about the bookmark features.

I had been searching for Power BI resources for several weeks, but didn't find anything that was straightforward and logical until now. YouTube videos didn't cut it, paper materials didn't cut it, but the Kindle version of this book was outstanding. I was able to have the book open on one screen and learn by doing Power BI on the other screen. This was very effective. I especially liked that it walks through opening data sets, modeling data, building visuals and then creating an effective dashboard. I worked through the exercises and built all the visuals in a week. Thank you Mr. Silva. Keep up the good work.

El libro llegó en buen estado , las ilustraciones son en blanco y negro yo hubiera esperado a que fuera a color por el precio, aún no lo leo pero le eche una hojeada y trae paso a paso las instrucciones

Project based book that what i was looking for.sometime lots of theory make me boar but writer straight way put me on to work. Finished it within a week.

I wanted to dive in to understand how to use Power BI quickly and easily and this book did that. I had bought another book, different author, and it was paragraph after paragraph of reading, and I wanted something action oriented. This book was all action. I think it would benefit from a little story telling of the benefit of features as opposed to just how to do them, but for a basic book, a good light kick start
