How is the picture quality in office lighting when you can't dim the lights?

The picture is vivid due to the higher lumens than most comparable projectors. I researched about 40 different projectors before deciding upon this one. I haven't been disappointed at all. Great projector at a good price.

It is very short throw. More than I was anticipating but works great. The keystone adjustment works very well so that if you are only about 5 or 6 feet back and below the screen, it can give you a 7 foot or more wide screen that looks very natural and in focus.

What wifi dongle did you buy to turn your projector wireless? How does it work?

I use the projector with my Surface Pro 3. I purchased the Microsoft wireless hdmi dongle and it works seamlessly. No issues at all and the projector is really nice.

So far so good - we bought three of these conference rooms. We needed short-throw (which means you can project at close distance) - and for that they are great, super clear, seem to work really well. The brightness is spot on!

Well worth considering this projector!

I have owned 2 Sharp NR-S10 projectors for 9 years and after finally loosing the 2nd one to age I took a look at this BenQ. It is a great choice at this price. The colors are bright and vivid and with 3000 ansi lumens you don't need a dark room to enjoy it. The short throw allows you to maximize your image size in a very short distance when space is an issue. It has many nice features that you won't find with other brands. Do yourself a favor and take a close look at this projector before deciding on one.

Plug and play is the name of the game

This projector works great for small to medium size conference rooms. It connects easily with minimal headache. I wouldn't recommend it for anyone trying to showcase photos as you will lose the color nuances but it excels as a conference room projector. The fact that it is a "short throw" projector allows you to project a large image while staying close to the screen which makes it much easier for the speaker to avoid getting in the way and causing shadows. The eco mode that allows you to turn off the bulb while the projector stays ready to use at the press of a button without warm-up time is very useful when you want the attention off the screen for a little or when you are starting a presentation and don't want the attention on the screen yet. However when you activate that "blank" mode it displays a message at the bottom about saving the planet which is a bit distracting and I don't know of any way to turn it off.

Great projector for small conference room

Bought it for our small conference room and the short throw works great. Easy to set up (plug in and project from laptop) and has nice high resolution images. Very light and portable. Not sure how durable it is but very happy with purchase.
