For years I had the luxury of a deep laundry rm sink w/ sprayer to bathe pets, but we recently relocated and are renting until we find a house - so small apartment, small/shallow sinks, no sprayers. I got the Sumerain Shower Sprayer so I could wash our pet in the tub - the only possible location. Needed to be easy to install (and UN-install when we move out), needed to have a hose that would get all the way down to my small dog's underside at the bottom of the tub, and needed a strong spray to get through all the dog hair and rinse shampoo thoroughly. This sprayer set-up met all my expectations and more. Comes in sturdy packaging, w/ easy to understand installation instructions (5 minute install). I'm very impressed with the quality - the diverter valve is heavy duty metal, very sleek and simple in appearance with a nice brushed/satin finish; the hose is metal as well and easily long enough to reach the bottom of the tub with several feet to spare. The sprayer itself feels solid and heavy. The holder is sleek and stylish also, though I'm saving that for our own house since It requires screwing into the wall (though I may try to attach it to a large suction cup).The strength of the spray is plenty strong, but the sprayer also exceptional in another way -- the little slider that controls the spray volume makes pet bathing SO MUCH EASIER compared to a typical sprayer with a "trigger" or push lever on/off. You don't have to experiment with how hard to push the lever to get the volume you want - and then try to *maintain* that position with your thumb the whole time. With this sprayer, just use your thumb to smoothly move the slider left or right to select the strength (from full strength at far right, all the way to OFF at far left), then the slider stays where you put it, as does the spray. No more squeezing a bit too hard and blasting your dog in the eye...your fingers are free, you can switch the sprayer from hand to hand, whatever. I was able to reduce the flow very precisely to get around my dogs eyes and ears with no overspray or splatter (or spraying myself by accident!). The whole process was more relaxed, quicker, and less messy for both of us.I'm leaving the sprayer and hose installed even though the dog won't need another bath for awhile - It'll be a big help when washing off large items in the tub (outdoor gear, baby gear - so many possibilities!); the hose is long enough that the sprayer can also function as a bidet sprayer for the adjacent toilet; it can even reach the bathroom sink. No sign of any leaking around the little diverter valve or the ends of the hose (though I did use just a couple wraps of teflon tape -not too thick- around the threads of the shower pipe and the sprayer diverter as I was installing it). That said, I wouldn't recommend leaving sprayer in the 'off' position with the water on for a long time - just common sense.Bottom Line: If you are looking for a quality shower sprayer with a VERY long hose and multiple potential uses....this is the one to get!

I purchased this device to put into my shower for an easier time cleaning the pups than I was having with the device in the bath. This one was an excellent choice. Installation was quick and easy. The device is easy to use and appears to be very well made. I had no leaks and have used it for both full baths and quick accident wash offs. Being able to control the stream strength on the handle itself is a great feature.

Wowza--this one of my favorite Amazon purchases ever! We have a 50 pound 'Doodle, and I was previously just lifting her up in the shower to get her fully rinsed when it was too cold to bathe outside. I'm a cheapskate so I don't want to pay the local groomer ~50 bucks just for a bath, so we'll supplement quite often with home baths. After a back injury, I started looking for other options, and stumbled upon this add-on to our shower extension arm. Popped it right in with some teflon tape, twisted to adjust to reasonable on/off position, and I was off to the races. As others have mentioned, the point at which this fitting bottoms out may be awkward for your particular installation based on thread depth and position of your extension arm, so be cognizant of where you start feeling resistance when tightening. The teflon will definitely help with minor adjustment, just know it may land in a weird spot.The nozzle does get slick when soapy, but that minor inconvenience is totally moot when contrasted with the benefits of having full pressure, long reaching, great flowing water and a long hose to give the dog a proper bath. Truly, this is an absolute game changer and I look forward to bathing the dog instead of it being such a chore.Suction cup is adequate, and brushed coating looks very similar to our other brushed nickel hardware. Ensure that you follow the cleaning instructions for mounting, and ensure that you utilize the mounting disc if on a porous (ie, travertine) surface, otherwise it will fall and drop your sprayer. Using the adhesive disc, no problems whatsoever.100% recommend this product--it's a back saver and a great addition. Also great for cleaning your shower/bath and rinsing soap scum, etc. Makes my cleaning evolutions a lot easier too!! Highly recommended.

This works wonderfully. Nice long hose, materials seem durable and well made. I love the adjustable pressure switch on the handle and the ability to turn completely off. At full open, the water pressure is strong enough to get through my dog's coat but can be easily turned down for sensitive areas like the belly or face. It's also very handy for cleaning the shower walls. Use some teflon tape on the fittings to ensure no leaks. One star off because the holder is a screw mount instead of a suction cup mount so that it can be installed in the shower. I just have mine laying on the shower floor until I figure something else out, but it's not a big deal. It's hard to find this style of handheld attachment for the shower, and this one fits the bill perfectly.
