Amazon Basics Washable Comforter Blanket, Reversible Lightweight Microfiber All Season, Twin/Twin XL, Navy/Sky Blue

I don't have high expectations when it comes to products from Amazon Basics unless its from their tech section (cables, wires, etc.), but this was surprising. I am a college student and am always looking to stretch my dollar certain places. I bought a double (size of the mattress) a year ago and was using cheap blankets that eventually started shedding. After cleaning up that mess I ordered this amazing king comforter for my bed. There was no bad odor, discoloration, etc. It was pretty perfect for what my expectations were. And it comes in a nice zipper bag with handles should I need to move and transport it! This comforter is not dense and thick at the same time. It looks thicker because it is fluffy- if that makes sense. It's actually the perfect balance though. There are no clumps of filling in one spot and empty pockets elsewhere. It's all around even and a good amount of filling. Now the quality of the filling. It's not your nice down feather filling like in pricey sleeping bags. But I am the type of sleeper who loves a cool temperature room. Heck, I like the room cold as long as the blanket keeps me warm under the covers. And this does just that. It does not make me sweat (yuck) or leave me wanting. In fact, last night I used it for the first time with my simple bed sheet and actually slept-in by 3 hours this morning! I like how soft and gentle this comforter feels against my skin and face. I live in the central part of California, the temperature in my room gets to 60 degrees at the lowest. I'm a cool temperature sleeper, young guy, and not too big (don't generate much body heat). This kept me cozy and comfortable all night long. I can foresee using this during spring and maybe summer? Maybe. That should give you some idea as to the idea of warmth you can get from this comforter. If you are living in colder areas, this may not be thick enough for you- or have the right filling to trap body heat under the blanket for you. Likewise, if you are a tiny person who can take the cold at all, get something warmer or sleep with sweats on if you decide to buy this anyway. This is a great product A very nice product at a great, great price! Could not find anything more affordable than this at the same level of quality at Costco, Walmart or elsewhere! Plus, having a king comforter for a double was a nice luxury.

Delightfully light, warm, large enough for a queen bed. Nice touch that they give a sham cover that the quilt can be folded up to fit in leaving it easily available. The quality is great and Yes, I would buy it again.

Good, basic reverisble, lightweight microfiber comforter blanket. Reasonably soft, steadfast color, does not produce lint. Easy to wash. May not be adequate enough, when used alone, to keep you warm during winter or when used in cold locations.

Warm, comfortable and nice and thick for a good nights sleep. Doesn't feel cheaply made like a lot of comforters in this price range. Highly recommended.

Super soft and comfortable. Very lightweight thankfully. Overall, it was exactly what I was looking for. Just wish they had more patterns/colors available! Fit is perfect for my king sized bed.

This is my 3rd one of these comforters. The price is good, I figured if they only lasted a year it was a great buy. However, I bought the first 2 over 2 years ago in 2015; the black/gray for my oldest grandson, and the orange/brown for my 2nd grandson. They are a med weight comforter, which is great for my hot blooded grandson as well as the cooler grandson. Also my daughter is able to fit both comforters in her washer at once. Some of the thicker comforters would be too crowded and not wash or dry as efficiently. BUT here is the REALLY BIG DEAL about these comforters.. My grandsons are extremely HARD on everything!!! BUT these comforters have truly stood up to all that my grandsons have dished out. For the first few months, one of the comforters was washed several times a week, sometimes daily, due to bedwetting, ALSO my daughter is regular about changing her household beds every other week, so they are still being washed quite frequently and they have absolutely stood the test! They still look and feel great. The colors have not faded, they haven't lost their shape, no shrinkage, the batting is still in great shape, no pilling, or napping. They come out of the dryer wrinkle free. What more can you ask for? And at this price??? So now that grandson number 3 has graduated into a "big boy bed" I was very glad to find that Amazon was still offering these comforters and I have just purchased our 3rd one, this time in the two shades of blue. My daughter couldn't be more pleased. I am thinking about getting 3 more, (1 of each) just to put away for when these finally do wear out. You can't beat the price for this kind of quality!

The blanket itself is very soft, very comfortable. The blanket does heat up evenly. The controllers though have an issue where they randomly will come on if the other side is on and blink F1 or they will be heating and the blink F1. You can't just hit the off button and then turn back on, you have to unplug the controller from the outlet and then plug back in. Contacted the seller about this and they replaced both controllers, but even the new ones display this behavior.

This is exactly has the description says. Its the proper size and colors. It is exactly as stated "light weight". Its warm but still cool enough to be under with a fire roaring to warm a house.
