These are perfectly functional. Simple installation. I used them to stabilize a folding table leg that is in open position 98% of the time. I think they will be just fine for what I needed. They are low quality, even for the price point. But work like they should and fit my application.

I needed to bend it to make it fit but after that it was fine.

Not quite sure what to expect at the price but these are very flimsy and easy to bend. The little tab that keeps the arm held at 180 degrees doesn't seem all that reliable and the way it's made can cause parts of the arm to slide past each other and bind. Installed correctly, technically it can work but I wouldn't trust it on anything heavier than 4 or 5 pounds.

The hinges are at best flimsy and the claim they are Stainless is not true. Also, the rivets are extremely poor quality and I believe will need to be replaced by some good hardware. Keep an eye on them and be aware of them failing... Last, make sure the arms are in alignment or they will twist and bend ... Remember, You get what you pay for....

This is a fine hinge for lighter and small items. I needed one much larger and heavy duty for a kiln lid.
